Were others i've forgotten now..

Showing players the ball etc etc..
Lots of little things i've been seeing for a bit now..

Getting a little offtopic but how good was it to see those Hawthorn supporters pass the ball around on the fence with Maxwell trying to get it back. Then just drop it on the ground instead of giving it to him. Those guys are my heroes.

I've been wondering about doing something like this for past 8 weeks or so. Wondering if i ever got the opportunity to do it, would i? depends on the player /team

Then these guys come along and actually do it. Brilliant.

Would throw it as far as possible from any Port player, give the Crows time to set

The irony of this is I think a lot of our supporters would get hard on's if we saw our players with a bit of arrogance and swagger. We have been starved of this since the Craig era(not necessarily a bad thing) but its time our players started showing some emotion and arrogance

I think were going to see a bit of this from Tex in the next few years and I cant wait for people like you to start saying

Not the sort of arrogance the pies are showing.. You still keep some respect and a bit of humility.. They're going out of their way to rub shit in others faces and that's a different thing..

The way Geelong conduct themselves for example is totally different, but they still have this thing about them that intimidates others over the last few years.. That's what you want to see in your team, not showing the ball after marks, kicking goals and giving opposition belittling rubs on the head etc etc..

Bring on the SANFL finals, good quality unbiased umpiring is so refreshing.

As the CDFC win again almost as boring as when the real port were dominating

In regards to the thread, i wouldn't be writing off Geelong just yet.. Always funny how teams are written off so quickly and easily, one free kick is not paid on Friday night and the Cats are sitting in a Prelim with everyone saying they will probably do it all again..

I dislike Collingwood because they're Collingwood.. Their supporters the way they are, the club pretty well, they have annoying arrogant players.. Supporters have been getting ahead of themselves since their first win lol but the players are getting a bit ahead of themselves at the moment, lotta smart rub it in the face kind of talk and actions the other night and recently.. Hope they fall flat on their faces.. Can't really hold it against them for beating us in them finals, we did it to ourselves.. They didn't target us, they were there as the opponent and won.. Same way we did it to the Bulldogs..

Why does every one hate Collingwood i would love to see them win the flag.

Not to mention, I find their supporters are generally more humble and less likely to jump the gun than most other supporters. Of course there are exceptions, as there are at any club, but I know a number of Collingwood supporters in real life and every one of them has been saying they are so far from confident, even given the great form their team has shown, because of numerous finals disappointments in the past. Regardless of how well their team does in the finals, I don't reckon they'll be celebrating until five minutes after the final siren on grand final day.


I certainly find them a hell of a lot easier to stomach than St. Kilda fans.

they talk about preperation, how do you prepare for THAT!

Then some teams point out how much your pre season is effected by how late you go in to the finals, what if they draw again next week? does the AFL have a contigency plan for that?

I think the hating Collingwood thing stems back to when we had a different team in the VFL to support. Ours was Carlton, and from there, hate for Collingwood was natural.

Now, after all the pain they've given Crows supporters, and having Eddie Macguire as pres, hating Collingwood is easy!
