I agree GentlemanJeff.
Get ready to be shouted down though, I reckon.
I think we all agree. But I think we should give him another game or two to see what he has got. It could be put down to nerves or something else.

I say give him at a few more games before we send him back to the WAFL.

The problem is our season is teatering on the edge. I think we should be picking the team with the best chance of getting us a win this week. And from last Friday, that would not include Collard. If he was overawed last Friday (which he looked like he was), a feral Collingwood crowd at the MCG will not be any easier. And we already know there are question marks over his fitness and ability to run out a game.
I really dont like our chances if he doesnt play, we need someone that can keep Lockyer, Heath Shaw honest. We need to stop their run. Im not saying he will stop them completely but if he can get the ball himself it will slow them down and they will also need to give him some respect.
The best way Freo can curb blokes like Shaw and Lockyer is by playing blokes like Webster and Soloman on them. Negative HFF types.
Collard didnt fly to melbourne, JCarr in.
Webster and Warnock went over as emergencies

"With Clayton Collard dropped, Freo travels to Melbourne with Luke Webster, Josh Carr and Robbie Warnock added to last week's squad, with Des Headland due a fitness test on Thursday on his injured quad."
