Collingwood 1980's signed football, how much would it be worth?

Just looking through my vast collection of afl/vfl/sanfl stuff and i came across this Collingwood football.

As you can see the whole team has signed this football and the signatures are -
Tommy Hafey, Stan Magro, Mark Williams, Ray Shaw, Tony Shaw, Rene Kink etc.

Does anybody here know what this would be worth as it has only ever been taken out of the plastic bag to be photographed. Also does anybody happen to know what year this football would be as it doesn't say on the actual football itself.

I'm not interested in selling it at the moment just a rough guide to how much it would be worth as i may be selling this football in about a year or two.

It would be from either 1981 or 1982. I say that because I spied the signature of Mark Williams on it. His first season for Collingwood was in 1981. Furthermore, Tom Hafey was sacked by Collingwood after about Round 8 of the 1982 season, so that narrows it down even further. To really narrow it down for you, tell me the other players who have signed the ball. I can't make out a lot of the names from the picture you posted.

Just re-read your original post. If Ray Shaw's signature is on it, the year is definitely 1981. Shaw left Collingwood at the end of that season.

you can find out how much its worth by ringing SEN on 9429 1116 on a sunday morning 8am-9am on the collectables show. this dude owns a shop in carnegie and specialises in AFL stuff, he'd be able to tell you for sure.

you can find out how much its worth by ringing SEN on 9429 1116 on a sunday morning 8am-9am on the collectables show. this dude owns a shop in carnegie and specialises in AFL stuff, he'd be able to tell you for sure.

I took this footy into the shop called superstars and legends at Marion & the guy said to me he would give me at least $800 for it.

I also have the same football as the Op, my late grandfather bid and won it at a Collingwood football night at their club, as a kid I kept pestering him about it and he eventually gave it to me, so yeah its probably worth bugger all but has sentimental value to me

I know this is an old thread but hoping someone will see my post.
Somebody mentions that the signatures are printed on. I am not so sure about that but can't get proper confirmation.
I have a ball from the same year I think and the signatures are in different places and one is in biro.
Let's say they are genuine signatures,does anybody know what the ball would be worth. I think there are 31 signatures in total.
