That first quarter against Geelong in the 2010 preliminary, the disposal was amazing.

The speed of the team was amazing. Watch Didak Thomas and Wellingham running their balls off. Thomas especially. No one wanted to win that game more than Daisy. Gun.

Watching 2010 gf v1 on fox footy. Clokey misses those two easy ones right before half time.
In 2016 we'll be relying on this same bloke to kick goals for us.

Best Collingwood side I have ever seen v a bunch of kids. No contest.

My problem is I have been watching Collingwood for a lot of years. I have been to 8 losing GFs, 2 drawn, 2 wins. I have seen countless other false dawns and been alive for 3 other GF losses. They are bloody tough to win. We now have an 18 side comp. Bucks has put his Cohunas on the line in a big way. It's brave and will probably fail because flags are so tough to win. That's not a knock on him just reality.

2010 is different though, they did win. They are immortals of our club. I am not knocking JMac because I understand the context he is asking the question within. Still a bit of me still feels these discussions devalues the 2010 team and a lot of us have been to ready to write down that achievement. I have a real fear I won't see another flag in my lifetime and I ain't planning a departure anytime soon. I have mates born in the 50's who have never seen their side win a flag

So go the 2016 side and beyond. I pray you join the immortals of 2010. However for now you are just pups and not fit to be mentioned in the same breath.

Wow, you've put a huge amount of work into that. I actually agree with almost all of your assessments, but you are saying that Didak (2010) is inferior to Jamie Elliott. I think Jamie can end up a fantastic player but I just can't agree with this one.

Agree with all but Didak is 10 times better than Elliott. Elliott is not in the same league as Alan Didak. I hope you made a mistake there.
