Collingwood have a good chance of a flag this year - but only because of their VFL-driven unfair advantage.

You guys should either try to come 2nd or throw some games to make sure you don't finish 3rd or 4th.

If we ever look remotely like throwing a game I will be arrested for murder and we will need an entire new board, coaching staff and playing list. We won away last year and we'll do it again this year.

Ok so Collingwood have an unfair advantage not going to Perth this year?
Carlton don't go to Brisbane this year.
Fremantle don't go to Brisbane this year.
Geelong don't go to Adelaide thsi year.
Port Adelaide don't go to Sydney this year.
Richmond don't go to Sydney this year.
St. Kilda don't go to Brisbane this year.

What if Adelaide was the ground where noone could win on?
What if the Gabba curse still existed?

Will these teams be accused of "rigging" the draw? No!

Pure anti-Collingwood histerica.

Next BigFootians will be claiming Eddie McGuire is raising a super breed of reverse vampires with super human strength. Eddie will use his manipulitive powers on the AFL and this Reverse Vampire team will enter the AFL. The team will dominate the AFL and then Eddie will instruct them to lay down for Collingwood so they can take an easy win in the finals. But what happens if these reverse vampire football players run amuck and refuse to lay down for Collingwood? We'll thanks to Eddie McGuire's super manipulative powers he will once again rig the draw and be the only team who doesn't play the reverse vampires. On top of enforcing a rule where Collingwood goals are awarded as 20 points each.

Hey it's not as bad as some conspiracy theories on this site.

It's not possible for every team to go to both Sydney and Brisbane, just as it'snot possible for every team to visit Perth twice or Adelaide twice.

BUT every team should be visiting Perth at least once, Adelaide at least once, and either Sydney or Brisbane each season.

What's so hard about that?

Collingwood's task is going to be the games against Brisbane, Adelaide, and Sydney. If Collingwood play their best football, then they should almost win. As for Second Spot, I think West Coast or Sydney may get that spot, I think Collingwood would be lucky to get into the Top 4 this year.

Nice logic about Dockers and Port Adelaide - what about the other 10 interstate games!!!!

The issue is the Wobbles don't go to WA at all - yet WA has two sides in the comp!!!!!

Collingwood may be a game off second spot, but Sydney has 2nd spot cemented in. Admittedly positions 3 to 10 are a raffle, but irrelevant for the end of september.

How so?
If you drop a game anyone of Brisbane, West Coast or even Collingwood could take over you.

Collingwood.. ha ha. You actually play some contenders in the coming weeks.

Brisbane are in a spiral, and WC are hit and miss (H&A).

Face it, the cream has risen to the top, and the sludge is fighting out 3 to 10.

Whatever happened to Eddie rigging the draw for us to have a dream run home?
Are you finally giving up your conspiracy theories Grey eggs and Ham?

Ahh Grayballs, go watch the tape of your Swannnies after half time. Even the slow old blues were able to put so much physical pressure on you, you pooed your pants. What do you think finals will be like?

What you have done for the first half of the year counts for **** when the real stuff begins. MM has timed our run, barring injury we are on the way. We have the G contract on our side and a good run home. The only two games on paper that are a major concern are Sydney (mein gott we travel!!!!!) and Essendon. Brisbane will be dangerous re a last hurrah or two and the Crows will be coming to Vic after visiting Subi; lovely!!!!!!!

You've only had to travel 3 times and lost twice. The one win was by less than a goal.

Hardly makes you "one of the best travelling sides in the league"...

It would be poetic justice if Collingwood had the double chance, had to travel to perth the first week and lost (obviously), then got an un-earnt final at the MCG the following week but lost that to the mythical subi hangover.

At least then you could say "we did play in WA in 2003".

Where are these games being played again???? You do have some tough competition coming up but where are these games being played???

That is where it is rigged!

Suprised to see grayham post about Collingwood because he hardly ever does.

His not obsessed at all.

Tell me again how this is rigged. Adelaide and Brisbane in Melbourne are return games after playing them at AAMI and the Gabba earlier in the year, Sydney in Sydney, and Essendon, well where do you suggest we play them?

Make your mind up Grayham. We play Brisbane in three weeks. Are they contenders or are they in a spriral?

Your contradictions are hilarious.
