I think Leigh walked the 2nd time.Yeah... And?
Leigh Matthews won 4 Premierships and still got the sack. Coaches lose their spark eventually.

Believe it’s Whitten on 228. Assuming he coaches the year out he goes to 226 which is good for second. Lots of pretty good coaches in and around that games bracket.Who holds that record now?

Slightly different stat Ron The Bear - it’s longest tenure as coach at a single club without a flag. Instant you win a flag you’re ruled out.

There is one coach who adds an anomaly though - Chris Scott. While he has won a flag, he has now coached 217 matches at the same club since said flag without tasting success again.

Can't see Buckley being sacked unless there is open revolt. He will play the young blokes so the club can see what they have. A caretaker coach ain't gonna fix it.
Tough sell to the veterans like Pendlebury though.
I’d hope Pendlebury is smart enough to realise he’s played his last final.
The media forced Eddie out of Collingwood. Now they've got their sights on Nathan
It’s going nothing to do with the media. The media forced Eddie out of Collingwood. Now they've got their sights on Nathan
still think it is weird that the whole systemic racism thing was parked at Eddie's door and Bucks was not held accountable. That seemed to be a collective media decision as to who would carry the can publicly. It’s going nothing to do with the media.
If anything, they’ve been soft on him with some going as far as to suggest that he should be renewed.
Clarkson will replace Buckley.Sack Buckley and Clarkson.
No, actually keep them – it’s always nice to see Collingwood and Hawthorn struggle.
So Collingwood has salary cup problems??? With that list?
Sorry, I mean lucky they got rid of treloar before his wife Played netball in Brisbane and she destroyed the clubs chances this year.
I wonder which player gets shown the underneath mechanics of a bus this year?
Please keep this football department together .... can someone point me to the gofundme page that’s set up, so I can donate??? #sidebyside
They could offload De Goey pretty easily and not miss a beat.
Just an idea on the next coach from left field - they could undergo a thorough interview process. A bit similar to the ones Hawks, Tigers, Dogs & Eagles did to get their respective coaches. None of these blokes were experienced before becoming premiership coaches. Maybe instead of reaching to get Clarko they could find the next Clarko by doing a bit of homework and research instead of the lazy approachSo everyone reckons Buckley is finished. And maybe he is. But then who?
They'll ask Clarkson but I'm not sure they'll be able to get him if he's committed to the Hawthorn rebuild.
Then it's Ross Lyon? Don Pyke? Michael Voss? Someone untried?
Just another stat worth noting - assume the pies don’t make the 8 this year, Bucks would have 10 completed seasons and only improved on the previous seasons ladder position once (2017 to 2018). Every other year he has either stagnated or gone backwards. How can anyone survive this unless they’re looked after in a boys club?Worth noting if he were to stay he would become the coach with the most matches at a single club without a premiership in VFL/AFL history.

No other coach would have survived anywhere near as long with his record.
That's a win win winHinkley to Pies
Schofield promoted
Buckley to follow Eddie
Pretty grim stuffPies need more than Bucks to be moved on. Draft pick order as at the end of Round 7:-
Richmond:- 13, 14, 23, 31, 45, 49.
Collingwood:- 38, 56, 74, 92, 110, 128.
