Just a question which I haven't got an answer to, but then again haven't exactly searched the forum, but is their any reason behind no Collingwood representatives in the IR Series?

Did all players require the mid-season break?
Did the coaching staff tell the AFL that no players will participate?
Did the AFL select no Collingwood players due to no player worthy of a guernsey (besides an injured Didak)?

Just wondering.

I think its a bit of everything.. With the main reason being that we simply haven't the right players for this type of game. I think Didak played last year??? But apart from him, we don't really have that quick, smart silky player that this game needs. Moreover, the key talls they've selected this year ie Hall, Fletcher etc, are better than what we have.

id rather our players be back in training and going to arizona instead of playing some mickey mouse game
Too right. The hybrid game is nothing more than a novelty and its an insult to sports such as cricket and rugby to refer to these games as "Tests".
