Lol I'll concede that you should learn to use a percentage calculater and not believe everything you read in wikki.
Regardless, you've got one almighty bandwagon going. You should probably learn to spell calculator while you're searching the net for that straw, too.

Jesus these Tigers get upset when they are compared to us lol

Melts aplenty over this on twitter

General conscious amongst AFL fans is Collingwood but an argument can be made for Richmond - being the first club to get 1 million people through the gates in a season and the first club to have 100k members in a season.

Richmond still haven’t beaten our (best and second best) attendance record, even with 100k members.

Pies had 1.3 million in 2010

1 and 3 game memberships are far more common than our flag year too.

It would be better to have a comparison who is bigger Collingwood or Essendon. As per Roy Morgan Collingwood is 660,000 and Essendon 651,000! Richmond are minnows 9ED20E44-331A-4193-8876-638D0E103E9F.png

Not from where Im getting the figures http://www.footyindustry.com/page_id=228 they show collingwood with 48408 in 2010 and in 2011 the year after their flag shows 71706 a 48% rise.

Its marvelous how quickly we left Collingwood behind and how fickle their supporters are, they only managed the 5th highest membership this year, we were still able to reach third highest for membership in 2015,16 and17 after 37 years without a flag.

Hmm and yet our base when we were out the finals for our 4th year is 75,000!! We are still the biggest club and easily bigger then Richmond.

Don’t fool yourself cats and dogs (pet members don’t count). Richmond when down the bottom have to find raise with save our skin campaigns to survive.

If Collingwood tapped Inot their huge casual supporterbase we would double Richmond. Collingwood as per Roy Morgan 2018 poll are only 2nd to Sydney for casual support. Richmond are 8th.

On social media Collingwood are the biggest club with 675,000 followers to Richmond who are ranked 4th in the afl behind Essendon and hawthorn with 556,000 followers.

Attendance’s since 1921 (home and away) Collingwood are by far the biggest club with 64,082,587 Richmond are 4th behind Carlton (who are 7 million behind Collingwood) and Essendon who is 3rd. 54,807,139 have watched Richmond since 1921. Richmond are a massive 9.2 million behind Collingwood and the margin would be greater if Collingwood had the advantage of playing home games at the mcg since 1965.

Yes for casual support. Collingwood have always been bigger then Richmond. What this graph shows is the Sydney, Collingwood and Essendon have the biggest casual fan base. They also have the biggest scope area to grow their attendance and membership base. If they do they will easily have 150-200,000 members

Collingwood made the Grand Final last year they should be easily getting over 100,000 members this year, but they won't.

Our 100,000+ members were pet free. Audited by the AFL, a record.

No point arguing with a guy like Gopies. He/she/it is a flat earther.
