It pissed me off ... it was frustrating..... i'm gutted after probably one of the worst losses I've been to in a fair while.... and overall it just plainly sucked. It was not a good day!

To be honest I didn't expect it, thinking if we lost it would have been fairly close, but having said that, brilliantly played Collingwood. We had no answers after half time, and that third quarter was bloody unbelievable (whilst tearing my heart out- never thought I would see our midfield so convincingly torn apart). I now see why you're all going on about Tarrant, and Buckley....well .... I don't need to tell you guys about him.

Some signs that I'm truly worried about (as always after a loss

) for us (and I wont go into them here)..... but no excuses. Far better team on the night, and could be a season building win for ya's. We'll be waiting for ya's Round 18 though.

I was rapt with the way we played tonight - it was great to have such a big win. It seemed to me that the move of Rocca into the ruck really got us moving in the 3rd quarter - I know he is slow and his fitness might not be up to scratch, but he did a pretty good job tonight. As usual, Buckley and Tarrant were superb (although it was disappointing to hear the people around me booing Buckley whenever he went near the ball - people should appreciate that he is a champion). It is nice to hear a Bulldogs supporter paying us a bit of credit, so thanks Westy Boy. Steven Quartermain on MMM said that the Bulldogs were ordinary and that Collingwood weren't that good at all but the Bulldogs made them look good - I hardly think that! When a team has such a convincing win, you have to pay them a bit of credit. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to next week, as Richmond don't have a good record of winning 2 matches in a row.

As soon as Kingsley Hunter left the ground injured for the doggies...the pies streamed away and look in complete control...
Coincidence?? I think not.

Oh yeah gee, I forgot that Hunter is such a great player, who the hell is he??
I am sure that he was the 12 goal difference, yeah right.

The future is black and white.

Yes. It was definitely the loss of Kingsley Hunter that cost the Bulldogs the match. No doubt about it.

As soon as he left, I just thought to myself, "Shit. The Doggies have lost Kingsley Hunter. They're going to find it very hard from here."

And so it proved to be. Amazing isn't it? How the loss of one good player can completely turn the match around. I just hope, for the Doggies' sake, that Kingsley Hunter is back in the side as soon as possible. I believe it is a tragedy, not just for the Bulldogs, but for football generally, that such a superbly talented athlete should be confined to the sidelines. So, if you're reading this, Kingsley. Get well soon, mate. The Doggies need you.

By the way ... who the f*ck is Kingsley Hunter?

Dodongo remembers last year when Collingwood won their first 5 games. It went downhill from there. Dodongo thinks it won't happen this year and COllingwood should make the 8.

Moving Anthony Rocca into the ruck and putting a highly talented youngster in Brodie Holland on the ball changed the face of the game markedly! Pebbles should be in the ruck ALL OF THE TIME MICKEY and Fraser should always be be in the forward line.

Our underrated players wont be so underrated any more. Keep it up boys!

And to Roogirl and any other halfwit that thinks Daniel Harris, Kerr et al. are the best pick ups (so far) from the 2000 Draft think again! While these players rack up a heap of pissy handballs and average kicks FROM A KEY ON THE BALL POSITION, the fact that Ryan Lonie executes 15 streaming runs from the half back flanks pinning players on the chest with a 50 metre footpass after running thirty makes him THE BEST PLAYER FROM THE DRAFT SO FAR!!! Add to this he has not been beaten by an opponent yet and continuousily provides a contest, spoils effectively and does ALL of the one percenters. And to further add to this, the fact that he is holding down his position, James Clement (who was going to be our driving half back flanker, but was replaced by Lonie due to a niggly injury), is now free to go up forward and provide YET ANOTHER tall making forward.

It was an interesting contrast to watch the Swans game afterwards to see Dannny Harris getting splinters on his arse!

And how talented are Nick Davis, Chris Tarrant and Josh Fraser? With youngsters such as Leon Davis, Dale Baynes, Nick Stone and Alan Didak, sharpening their teeth in the VFL AND with the highly, highly skilled Damien Adkins set to return soon, we are in a position to take the league by the throat for the next decade.

We will not fold like last year. We are ready to hit the finals NOW. LETS KILL 'EM PIES!!!

When I first saw this topic, I thought the maggies had caught something from their spa & I don't mean legionnaires.

Mags

Mags, you must have some secret admiration for the Essendon Footbal Club. As it was YOU that brought our great club into this conversation.

And how does your win make us look like dickheads?
(1) We are above you on the ladder.
(2) Where did you finish in 2000? and;
(3) 16-14.......

that covers it!
