COLLINGWOOD’S chief medical officer has been stripped of his medical licence.

As the Magpies prepare to launch into pre-season, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency has this week moved to place Dr Chris Bradshaw on suspension.
The ruling means Bradshaw is banned from practising medicine in Australia.

Bradshaw’s registration details in the AHPRA database state: “Pursuant to section 191(3)(c) of the Act Dr Bradshaw is reprimanded”.
That section states: “If a panel decides a registered health practitioner or student has an impairment, or that a practitioner has behaved in a way that constitutes unsatisfactory professional performance or unprofessional conduct, the panel may decide to ... for a performance and professional standards panel, caution or reprimand the practitioner”.

The long-time AFL medico joined Collingwood from Geelong three seasons ago.

He headed up the Cats’ medical department during their three premiership seasons.

But Geelong's medical professionalism meant they didn't listen to Dank!

Wonder if the AFL will do a Jobe on the Cats.
We should never have taken-on a doctor trained at the Tiges, I say.:p

Going to be interesting to see the reasons for the reprimand. They may be unrelated to his football duties.

Sad in many respects because he's spent a long time in sports medicine both here with 4 AFL clubs and overseas.

Could it have something to do with the Egan case?

Collingwood have quickly replaced him with a new one

So the pies lose a doctor but win a flag?

I reckon they’d take that.

2007, 2009, and 2011 GF's should then be decided by coin flip. Given that Geelong beat the Pies in Prelims or GF in each of those years, it could result in three extra flags for Collingwood.

Did no one else read this
If a panel decides a registered health practitioner or student has an impairment
?

It could be health-related, it could be misconduct, it could be malpractice outside the footy club, and it could be malpractice at the footy club.

Let's wait and see before sooking about Essendon's treatment or what Geelong did/didn't do.
