Collingwood Football Club

[CURVE]

The Collingwood Football Club - some say the Blue Ribbon club of the AFL, others say the Golden Turkey. But, do we really need a club that stirs such negative emotions amongst a majority of footy lovers? Is this negative energy good for the game? And what of the Collingwood supporters, should they all be deported to New Zealand??

Lets face the facts Ladies and Gentlemen, if you are not a Collingwood supporter, you hate them with a passion almost as great as the passion you feel for your club. You see Collingwood supporters as a mutant strain of humans that is slowing down the evolution of the Australian species. As long as Collingwood supporters remain in this country, we will be seen as nothing more than ex-pat New Zealanders.

My mother is buried under my house because she supported Collingwood, and I suggest to all Australians, if you want this country to be the great land it can be, we must eliminate Collingwood (in particular their President, Eddie) and their supporters from Australia and burn that god-awful guernsey.

I suppose the same can be said of Carlton, but I haven't got around to burying my sister yet, so I'll leave them alone. For now.

Actually, i don't have a real hating for the Collingwood Footy Club. Sure, i love to beat them, maybe not the most but they are ok. Revenge is very sweet against them i must admit (

hehehe) but to me, they are just another club.
Go on, kick me out i don't care. It is just my opinion.

I do hate one club with a PASSION Bee. That is the West Coast Eagles. My neighbour goes for them (as most WA ppl do

) and whenever our teams play against each other, we have a war. Last year they put yellow and blue balloons on our letterbox (eagles colours). Later that night the game was played and Richmond won, of course

. So the next morning, i knocked on the door with their balloons and a pin in hand and burst the balloons. All of which i was wearing my Tiger guernsey

Devo, your topic really touched me, to think that collingwood means so much to you that you write a whole topic in their honour..
To hate them as much as you seem to, there must be a reason.. jealousy maybe? if you hated them this much surely you wouldn't care enough to write them a topic or want to get rid of them.
These topics about the pies are really humorous, to think that these people think we actually care that they hate our mighty pies is flaterring, I love the fact that the pies are hated so much, its just going to make it better when we are again a force,and all this mocking and snickering will come back in eveyones faces, it'll make it all the better..

The only things i have ever hated in my life were caused by jealousy, i hated them because i couldn't either have them, or have what they had, seems thats what hatred is.. jealousy... that says something..

Can I just say, that I haven't buried my mother, I do in fact love the old biddy, eventhough she goes for Collingwood. The reason I started this topic, is she has just arrived from Longreach (outback QLD), where they don't get any info on AFL, so when I told her we picked up Rocca and Olarenshaw, she laughed at me. How rude.

And was still laughing this morning before I went to work.

I will of course laugh at her when Collingwood win the wooden spoon and Rocca kicks us to victory in the GF.

I would still like to see all Collingwood supporters deported.

Fair enough, but what about the North bashing that goes on? Is that jealousy as well? If not, then what is it?
