Nah, that was a goal. Davis touched the ball then it came off Miochek's boot.Mihocheks clearly touched "goal" was at a critical moment. Fully expect Collingwood would have won regardless, they were better all night, but Giants have the right to be pretty aggrieved about that call, among a few others. The noise of affirmation, or lack of for GWS was clear in a few calls and non-calls.
Couldn't be, it was simultaneous or it was after, if he swiped at it and made contact before it hit the boot it would have deflected more.Nah, that was a goal. Davis touched the ball then it came off Miochek's boot.
Hahahaha.I am dick head. I certainly been watching more than this game too. You've been kissed on the dick this year.
not into the bias conversation but the umpiring tonight was pathetic - even worse that friday night.
Not that the game was much chop but god it was pathetic
Now now that’s unfair, Razor goes above and beyond to show leadership in the field of player - and the wider viewing audience’s - education, and facilitates their understanding of the more technical aspects of the reasons why a call was made?Basically- If supporters know an umpire by name- it generally means they are horrible.
And your team is the leader- I'd keep quiet and hope they dont focus on that one this weekThe amount of throwing the ball out of contests that is going on without being caught by the umpires is at an all time disgusting low.
AFL to trial another column under possessions in the Melb v WC prelim.
Kicks , handballs , throws
Looking at the paper this morning, Collingwood got 4 free kicks in their forward 50, Gws 0.
Couple of them just weren't there and weren't paid at the other end.
Exactly. Its not just which side gets the free kicks, its where they are paid. And also the ones ignored.
Collingwood held the ball, dropped the ball and threw the ball all night. I would be amazed if they were pinged more than twice. GWS got called against far more often, including when laying perfectly legitimate tackles.
Pies get more frees because of their great tackling pressure.
Lol bullshitAnd your team is the leader- I'd keep quiet and hope they dont focus on that one this week
Having said all that geez I hope we don't cop Ray Chamberlain next week
It has been the whole year where so many favourable calls go their way. Free kick differential kings. Opposition touch the ball and it is holding the ball as soon as tackled. Opposition trips over it is throwing the ball.
In return Collingwood players run around and have so much time to dispose of the ball and they are tackled, it is ball up. They throw the ball, and it is deemed knocked out in the tackle.
Is something fishy going on?
