YES .... Wayne Carey at Collingwood .... YOOUU BEEAAUTTY

Anyway, for the rest, it is a good list of AFL Footballers, and they obviously would love to help out the greatest club in the game. Let's hope this is the start of what should be success.

They are skills coaches not assistant coaches right?
So we will still have a forward coach (Browny), mid coach (Fletcher) and a defence coach (McKenna)?

McGuire coy on coaching talk

Collingwood president Eddie McGuire has refused to elaborate on the club's reported talks with three big name former players, as the Pies attempt to secure an all-star specialist coach line-up for 2006.

The Herald Sun reported on Saturday the Magpies have recently interviewed Peter Daicos, Wayne Carey, and Stephen Silvagni for positions on the club's coaching panel as part of its end of season restructuring process.

Speaking on radio 3AW on Saturday afternoon, McGuire was decidedly coy as he gave nothing away regarding how the talks with the three former players were progressing.

"They might be playing if we finish 15th again," McGuire said.

"Look, we're talking to everyone at the moment, we're not going to speculate on the run, we'll make some decisions as we go.

"(We have a) big day on Monday, we're going through things and we'll start putting names in boxes from Monday going forward."

Ed has always said nothing when Carey's name has been mentioned on The Footy Show so take it as a given that the Duck will be there!

I'd say Carey and Collingwood are a good fit - both dogs. :D
You should be thankfull that Collingwood allows you to use our home ground for matches.

You should also be thankfull that Eddie allows Melbourne to get money on the the AFL drip feed.

You should also be thankfull that we let you play us on the Queens Birthday weekend.

Collingwood keeps Melbourne afloat, if we cut out the handouts Melbourne would be dead and buried inside two years

Dunno if the new assistants (if true) will actually help all that much.
Remember SOS is meant to be helping Sydney's Lewis Roberts-Thompson, but the thing is, LR-T is still rubbish.
