Ah, I wish I could support a real club ... like old Fitzroy.

But no ... I've jumped on the Collingwood band-wagon. I've come right out of the woodwork. And here I am. Gloating like an arrogant c*nt. Right in your face ... you f*cken non-entity.

I agree with Joffa. After a few years of hell, we have returned bigger, stronger and hungrier. The hatred towards us is what makes us THE MOST REVERED CLUB IN THE LEAGUE.

The hatred has returned. Why else would our 80's hair band loving friend FJD, start an entirely new post about his hatred of us. It is because we are, and always have been, the greatest!

Well no matter what, we beat Carlton this week. I have a very strong feeling that Fitzroy won't beat Carlton this year. When you think of Fitzroy, you think of mergers. Otherwise you think of clubs folding. Fitzroy were not able to keep a side in the AFL and folded after nearly merging with Footscray in 89 and the roos in 96. They then came to Coburg and they almost folded. :mad:

I also heard of suggestions that they were thinking of merging with the Northern Bullants. If they had then that would have been the end of the Bullants. You see Fitzroy don't care about footy. They only care about ripping off other clubs.

Richmond numbers have been roughly equivalent to those of Collingwood over the past few years (Dan or Jethro Q Walrustitty can provide more detailed analysis of this) while we have been frustratingly inconsistent.

Now if Dermie's assertion holds true, then we we have attendance number that will blow the Collingwood, Essendon and Carlton pretenders away! :D

On Richmond Club Corner (Sport 927) last night, they mentioned that their indication were that Saturday's game would top 90,000!

That was a bit judgemental!

I can't think of that word (i'm being serious). The word which means judging people as a group and not individually. I'll edit this post when i think of the word ...

Every team has some bandwagoners but all teams have very loyal passionate fans. That is where the spirit for AFL is. Footy is about the true supporters, the game, the team feeling. Not picking out the ones that have no feeling in the game that just want to win. As i said, every team has bandwagoners. Collingwood is one of the 16.

Instead of picking up the bad, find the good.
