I have to admit LF50, I was quite surprised about cetain outbursts from people whom I didn't expect them to come from. For that reason I've decided not to post until the day after a match. That's when everyone's thinking clearly. By Tuesday I was much more heedful about the game. I though back to 2002 when everyone wrote us off after the Richmond game. I also thought about how Geelong and Melbourne turned it around last year. I'm now quite hopeful that Monday was just one of those days. They boys just need to lift the intensity and adhere to a proper game plan. But we didn't give enough credit to the Bulldogs' superb commitment to their game plan, which definitely affected the way we played.

This Adelaide game is so important for many reasons. If we have a good win it could lift us up for the rest of the season, as we know we do have the talent. If we lose, 2004 would be looking too similar. With Bucks' hammy of our back, the side just has to play for one another.

I guess it is a goo way to recover from a football supporters hangover. I said before that I regret having a go at the coach, because i was so annoyed with MM's performance.

Well, the nest day it was much better, I still haven't written off the pies. I was just disappointed with YouBeauty having a go at me and telling me that if I am to be a supporter, I am not aloud to have a go at the side, and also said I have written them off. Sometimes, you have to think before you open your mouth (type on the keyboard)

Its a forum and hes making hes opinion heard, He thinks that people shouldn't shoot the coach after round one. I don't agree with any one on this forum, I'm simply saying that there is no reason to shoot the coach after one game into the season when there are 21 of them to go for him to proove you fools wrong.

go pies.

I do get sensitive when it comes to collingwood, especially the coach.
I am sorry, lets just all hope we beat Adelaide. :)

Okay, just remember, sometimes, even if we are loyal supporters, sometimes we do have our bad days. pies will make the eight, but 1 game at a time.

I love seeing the pies loose.

Keep it up, its good for the competition.

Maybe now some of your feral supporters can wake up and smell the coffee.

:D

You like seeing the pies "loose" - lol (Typical Intelligence of Richmond Supporters, Can't even spell  )

Now, Because Richmond won and Collingwood Lost you must feel the right to bag us, bottom line is, we'll finish higher, and whatever happens we won't be spitting at our coaching staff and players. :)

well said YouBeauty. the morons who bag the players, the coach, infact the whole club think because they have a membership (which most of them probably don't), think they can hang ******** on whoever they like when i bet they couldn't get out there and do a better job. and when we have a good win, surprise surprise! they're back on the bandwagon, but even after a great win, they still find something negative to complain about.

the club ain't forcing you to support them, so if you think the club is useless, don't support em, enough said.

It's through my love of the club that I criticise, because I want to see us strong again.

Clapping blokes off the field after a five goal loss to the Bulldogs isn't going to help anything.

clapping them after a loss or win is a part of supporting them you moron. and having a pic of 'anti mick malthouse' really shows your love of the club.

when the ******** have they given up on the match and stopped trying?

you're a fair dinkum moron mate, go barrack for another club.

Clapping them after a hard fought loss to a successful club is supporting them in a positive way.

Clapping them after throwing the game away by practically "giving up" is not supportive of the club at all, as it breeds mediocrity.

Oh No. What has Collingwood done to deserve you, you pathetic, ungreatful, un-supportful, stupid, toothless, critical piece of crap.

"Collingwood Football Club: Embracing mediocrity since 1990" - L-Nizzy

Absolute crap, you are truly stupid, especially when your located in Brisbane. It really does prove that you are a bandwagoner, no premiership then L-Nizzy isn't happy. We have a coach that has won premierships and you are against him, hahaha, fool.

As for my quote: "L-Nizzy Embracing crap since birth"

Rightio then, go and be happy finishing twelfth every year of the rest of your life then.

I love the club. What I'm not going to accept is as like the last half of last year, and like the Bulldogs game this year, and even the '03 Grand Final, is spineless, character-less losses when I know we can play better. BTW, how many flags has Malthouse got us? Or is likely to get us in the near future? If we were on a definite path toward somewhere I'd be a lot happier, unfortunately most of our really good players are coming toward the end of their careers.

What does being based in Brisbane mean that I am less a fan? You guys pay your $400 or whatever to see 18 games in Melbourne a year - I pay that every year for one. Don't give me this crap about not being a "true" fan.

Don't bother reasoning mate.

The posters who have been here for longer than a month know you love this club. Obviously the fact that we live in QLD means we are bandwagoners

Let's go and cheer for the Lions this week and hope our second team, Collingwood, does well!

"Four in a row is ours and they want our record. Don't let those bastards get away with it. I want you to bleed for Collingwood today" - Collingwood coach Phonse Kyne moments before the 1958 Grand Final

Surely Mick should have said that in 2003. I know they were only going for their third at that stage, but at least he could have said something to them!
Because whatever he did say didn't work, it just scared the hell out of them and they played like little boys who wet their pants everytime a Brisbane player got near them.

just be warned, when collingwood win their next premiership, don't you dare jump back on the bandwagon. cos you've shown your true colours, we're "spineless". why can't you just support them no matter what? bagging them week in and week out ain't gonna do anything.

No, I said I won't accept spineless efforts. Is that such a problem?

It doesn't happen often. If the players go out there, have a crack, and fall short - hey, it happens. I'll be angry, it'll last a day or so, I'll get over it. If it's consistent (eighteen months is consistent), then you look at how you can change the structure of the support staff (coaches etc) in order to make the team good again.

I'm still in front of the telly/at the game every week, supporting the boys. That's not going to change.
