How are you being feral you ask, well the continous bagging of the coach and players and what not is unbeleivable. We laugh at clubs like Richmond for their supporters, surely we don't want to be heading down that path now do we. To look at the negatives is ok, sure why not. Saying that MM has to go based on one game into the season is ridiculous, if you guys don't have any thing better to do than bag the players and coach in your spare time then get a life.

Who are you to say that only the people who yell and scream at the footy are real pie fans, or the ones that dress in savers or k-mart clothes. What makes them different to the ones that have a set up career and are doing well for them selves. Who are you to say that theire not collingwood.

Any way, I think most people one here only want one thing and thats the best for collingwood. What that is, and how to achieve it obviously no one will ever agree on the one thing, that is the great thing about footy it causes debate after debate no one will ever have the same opinion. That's all that matters, I think you should stick true to your coach untill he quits or gets the arse you guys seem to think it's ok to bag the coach as soon as we loose a game and thats fine by me, while I disagree with you people it is your opinion. I think this is one of those times when you need to agree to disagree, i think it's wrong to shoot the coach after round one and bash him while hes on the ground. You guys think its ok, and that it's all his fault. Thats fine, let's leave it at that.

Amazing the crap I read on these forums. Cheap shots at Malthouse, cheap shots at players, you are pathetic. Round 1 and you have decided to bag the hell out of our side. People forget in 2002 we lost to Richmond by a fair margin of about 40pts I think. All looked lost then....

Yeah, we lost to Richmond round 1 '02, but the boys had a dip.

Since when did I say we aren't going to win the finals, actually I recall posting something between the lines of "Collingwood will still make the eight" in a thread on the Collingwood Board on Tuesday or Wednesday!!! Get your facts right mate.

I agree on people saying it is Round One, but when people actually think it means nothing we may as well start at Round 5 as they don't matter. The game on Monday deserved some criticism because it is what you do when you are so disappointed. It could be a sign, it was all fustration, and I blame myself for actually saying, and I quote "Its time to go Mick Malthouse". I regret that, yes, but when people like "You Beauty" target Collingwood faithful and tell us we are not Collingwood supporters, and tell us what we are doing is wrong is pathetic. This is a forum where we discuss our opinions. He can have his opinion, but the fact is, he has dug a hole by telling us who we are and how to live our lives as Collingwood supporters.

The fact that I have not written Collingwood off is what I am ********ed off about. I said that I regret writng Malthouse should go, but I had to get the fustration off my chest. He simply was not at best Mick on Monday and we all should now that. Read between the line mate, if you read this post in your other mood that you have you would be telling him to stop telling us how to support our team.

I never said he can't have his opinion, I said that if you can't handle the criticsm to even yourself on forums, then he should go to one that only positive and agreeance can be allowed.

I have to admit LF50, I was quite surprised about cetain outbursts from people whom I didn't expect them to come from. For that reason I've decided not to post until the day after a match. That's when everyone's thinking clearly. By Tuesday I was much more heedful about the game. I though back to 2002 when everyone wrote us off after the Richmond game. I also thought about how Geelong and Melbourne turned it around last year. I'm now quite hopeful that Monday was just one of those days. They boys just need to lift the intensity and adhere to a proper game plan. But we didn't give enough credit to the Bulldogs' superb commitment to their game plan, which definitely affected the way we played.

This Adelaide game is so important for many reasons. If we have a good win it could lift us up for the rest of the season, as we know we do have the talent. If we lose, 2004 would be looking too similar. With Bucks' hammy of our back, the side just has to play for one another.
