After the weekends game where my beloved WCE broke a 23 year hodoo at the mcg.
I was a very flat and gutted about the NicNat news felt though we lost.

But was amazed at the gracious and humble posts of Collingwood supporters.
Normally big footy is full of troll posts especially in post game threads
You guys showed such class and empathy
So just wanted to say thanks not often we see such classy group as you guys

Us Collingwood supporters have been through a traumatic six years straight on the injury front, so we should have empathy. Thanks for the kind words.

It also helps that WCE supporters didn't come and troll on our boards, nor made campaigner posts on your board for the match previews or after the game.
Genuinely good discussion posts, and all done in good spirit.
Kudo's to everyone.

And i hope Nic makes a speedy recovery, and comes back in time for our match next year.:thumbsu:

I felt sick for him. He is literally one of the reasons I love to watch the footy. It's a big loss for anyone who loves our game.

Yep, absolutely feel the same way. Even with clubs i have a traditional Pies grudge against, like Blues and Dons, to see great players of our game go down wirh bad injuries always makes me sad. Our whole game is the loser.

Mend well, Nic Nat.

The game, and therefore we as supporters and spectators, is all the poorer when genuine stars miss games. Hope he's back fit and firing in 2019.

I saw the thread title and was looking forward to taking Collingwood supporter classes!
I must admit that,s what I thought too, what have we done now.Seriously though good luck to Nic Nat and hoping for a speedy recovery for him he has not had a lot of luck with injuries the last 3 or 4 seasons.

Good luck to NicNat, he's an awesome athlete and too valuable to be out of the game.

Speaking of (very) classy Collingwood supporters, I wonder where TG is at?

I've fixed it so there shouldn't be any confusion now :thumbsu:

NicNat is one of my all time favorite non Pies players and he is pure class off the field as well, I just hope he recovers well enough to have another 5 or 6 years of good football.

I've grown to understand that footballers are people with lives outside football. I might have laughed at an injury when I was young, but that was when I was very young. It's a long road back for these people, it affects their lives off the field and I take no enjoyment in seeing any player get injured.

NicNat is a superstar. I'd be ashamed of any Collingwood supporter if they were happy to see him injured.

Hoping big Nic Nat recovery is successful and we get to see him ply his trade soon, genuine star of the game.
