I will be very excited to have a number of Pies in my DT next year. Here are some players who I reckon will be DT relevant in 2014:
Def:
Paul Seedsman - had a breakout year and will be ready to take it to the next level next year. Could be a good midpricer with many premiums such as Goddard, Heppell and Gibbs likely to be mid only.
Clinton Young - If he was given DEF eligibility and was under 300k then could be a very good pick despite being injury plagued
Heath Shaw - Always been an inconsistent but solid pick in DT, won't change next year
MID
Dane Swan - gun
Scott Pendlebury - gun
Dane Beams - came back well on Friday night and should have a 10% price reduction next year. Lock him in if fit!! Hopefully replicate 2012 form
Tim Broomhead - Could be a good rookie pick if he doesn't get a game this year but looks good in Preseason next year
Rucks:
Jarrod Witts - Averaged 70 odd in the last 2 weeks. If he could do that next year then could be a decent midpricer. Good chance to do this if hes number 1 ruck.
Brodie Grundy - Lock him in as a rookie ruck if he doesn't get a game this year
Forwards:
Dale Thomas - Will be very relevant doesn't matter where he ends up next year
Alex Fasolo - could be a unique pick
Travis Cloke - should continue this years form which has seen him be a Top fwd in DT this year
