I hope Josh Gabelich is wrong , in what we are giving away for Hill
It seems to be slight overs, but not by much. If we hold our ladder position, our second rounder next year is pick 35. It depends on the swap of the 3rd rounders, but if it's this year, it could mean upgrading pick 49 to 40, which is handy. I'm really optimistic about how good Hill can be, personally, so I'm happy with the trade.

Yeah, I am too (as are some Crows fans). I get that he's a bit older than their other developing KPDs, but he was starring in the role early in the season and Adelaide were actually winning! Weird. I think he'll be solid.

Apparently, he's been in the system for 8 years at two different clubs and hasn't gotten much of a look in.

obviously he was ok going to north as no1. maybe he thought it being no 1 is a big thing.

then to sook and be petulant because it got tough says a lot about him.

he screwed north.

He was selected as the No.1 pick. He had no choice.

I watched this kid play. And early on when the players at the Paupers were utilizing his attributes everything was moving in the right direction.

But what you don’t know about the Paupers is that the tail wags the dog. After Scott they crucified Shaw as coach and now also Noble. The senior players have way too much control over what’s going on.

I watched the kid run his arse off on many occasions early on both ways to try and support his teammates. And on most occasions he would get burnt or bypassed by so called teammates.

I don’t deny that his petulant behavior at the end did not help his cause. But he is a first year kid. Whose talent is there to see. And with the decade possibility of a career. You can’t waste time at a deadhead club. That only serves to drain the talent from you.

What are they waiting for with McStay's FA paperwork? Waiting for Dan to fly in from Brisbane? haha.

Do his Interview for Club and Photos as well so come in Articles announcing it

On the basis of 2022 SANFL form, what our current best 22 looks like, what Dean/ Kelly offered in 2022 and how valuable those 200cm KPD’s are he’s a lock for Rd 1 barring injury. He’s my personal tip for recruit of the year and I’m personally shocked the Crows have let him slip away.

I think we got lucky. Frampton is uncontracted and Adelaide only have 6 uncontracted players atm. I doubt they were expecting him to have the SANFL season he had. He's a victim of his contract status and Adelaides need to find list spots. Fortuitous for us.

As you have said numerous times Dave our media department aint that good its probably done but might take a day to sink in that it's happened

True but thought we here a Confirmation from AFL HOUSE by Now

Remember when we gave away two 2nd rounders for Aish.

Be grateful we're past those days.

2nd round pick for Sam Murray too!

Welcome Bobby Hill! Excited to see what he can offer!
Best of luck to Bobby at the pies .... he’s got some real X factor and hopefully comes back from the cancer issues to fulfill his potential

Kind of feels like we are paying overs for Hill given his circumstances and i'm not loving our willingness to give away picks in what have been touted as a strong draft.

But no doubt Hill is the type of player we need.

The Frampton talk of a future 3rd makes me feel even worse, guess we'll have to wait and see.
It's funny that we hear the old "strong draft next year" every off season. Until that season runs around & we find it actually isn't.
This board was all about the flood of quality tall forwards that would be available to us. Now most of them have dropped off the radar.
I'd think our guys would have a reasonable idea on what next years draft holds.

It's funny how Wright said earlier Mitchell is unlikely then all of a sudden the "Hawks open to Micthell trade" haha
I noticed that, Graham Wright returned serve on Mark Mckenzie after he opened his big mouth 2-3 days ago talking tough.

Graham Wright just flipped it on its head this morning and proving that Hawthorn want him gone as much as they did last year.
