You haven't been watching very closely then.
By all means please enlightenment. Which part of his game apart from hit outs is a massive improvement.

I'm not really one for stats but after your comment I had a quick look. Seems to match what my eyes tell me that he isn't a lot better than his career average. Your the one who said that I'm not looking if I can't see massive improvement?

In games his possessions are hardly more important than previous years with not many being 'big possessions'. In fact his marking which I would argue for him is the most important indicator is actually worse than previous years.

Because he is one player on our list that has genuine currency, in a position where we can actually afford to lose a talented player.

I'm not an advocate of trading Witts, because I think he is capable of co-existing alongside Grundy, but I can certainly see the logic behind it.
Round and round it goes I dont even care anymore. ...get a farkin forward

I'm not one to take a view on a player on the basis of one match in isolation when weighing up whether they're improving or otherwise and considering you pulled Ace Andy up on not watching him closely I'd hope you have further evidence to support your POV? For instance I thought Campbell took the honours on the weekend against Witts which if I were to look at in isolation would be as big a negative on Witts as you view the match v GWS a positive.

I also don't believe that that was the standout performance that some on here believe it was (for mine his standout performances of the past 18 months have both been against Hawthorn) with Mumford an undersized ruckman that struggles against guys he can't move off the line of the ball.
I agree. The hawthorn game was easily his best. His game against mumford was overrated.

If Witts is offloaded, and we some how have a quality second forward to Cloke, then Vickery would be a perfect recruit.

Ok so you maintain that Treloar IS currently a champion of the game based on his statistical output.
If he's already doing what the other champions of the game are and surpassing them in some cases then you can make up your own word for all I care.. the kid is an out and out gun

Yep, 'champion' implies someone who is accomplished. He isn't accomplished. But his current output is immense and he is and out and out gun as you said. Get him to the bloody club.

He's got so many 'accomplished' champions covered at the moment I'll just be happy to have him too

We will not win a Premiership with White or Vickery in our team.......Bookmark it!
Well Sydney won with Goodes, Reid and Morton...
Goodes wasn't the greated KPP forward, Reid didn't kick more than 30 did he? And Morton, well a Richmond delist. :p

But seriously we wouldn't make the finals with that forward duo, dropped marks, lack of physicality, easy misses and Vickerys cheap shots would keep us to less than 4 wins a season
