What other teams?
Dont think Sharenberg will go to any of GWS Geelong or GC. If he ends up going to adelaide, that means we most likely will get Dangerfield in return
Or part of a multi club deal. Danger is going somewhere else and Adelaide want someone in return. How that is orchestrated, doesn't need to be just the 2 clubs directly involved.

Would you trade Shaz for Danger?
Yes I would. Im sure Shaz is more valuable to Adelaide than whatever Geelong will offer them.
We also have a plethora of those halfbacks and inside clearance mid with burst is clearly a huge deficiency and is one of the most influential roles in the game.
As talented as Scharenberg is, I would happily trade away his upside for a top 5 mid in the game.

That would be very nice. Hopefully we have the right mix of draft picks and players to satisfy.

Can always hope.

However I think our main priority is Treloar and we will negotiate with GWS on it, hopefully giving up our first and second round picks for this year as a best case scenario.

Really? How much would you be willing to hand over for JT and Keeffe? They aren't worth a cold crumpet in their current predicament
That's just who I think does have some value, whether as steak knives or alone that could be out from rumours floating around boards.

Beams was a bit more established than Treloar though. Premiership player 2010 at age 20, Copeland Winner and All-Australian at age 22.
These are the reasons we shouldn't have to give up both 1st and 2nd round picks, as well as a player. Treloar is tracking really nicely, but he's not an All Australian, premiership winning, Copeland trophy holding contracted player.

I'd be happy with a 1st rounder, and 2nd rounder at maximum. Ideally for us to be spread across 2 years.

Matthew Scharenberg, Collingwood, out of contract
The South Australian has yet to re-sign amid speculation he has struggled to settle in Victoria since Collingwood claimed him with pick No.6 in the 2013 national draft. The 191cm utility is a special talent and the Pies remain confident he will stay, but rumours persist he will seek a trade to Adelaide or Port Adelaide.
So is this still a Possibility that we will Trade Scharanberg?
