Would he get a Game at Port or Crows though?
On current output you'd say no. But its easy to forget he's coming off 2 major injuries that have massive ramifications on a person's football ability and missing a year in a half of footy in reality. To suggest that 2015 scharenberg is the scharenberg we will be trade is the lowest he will ever perform. This time next year I have no doubt in my mind he will be a regular top 10-12 player for whichever club he represents.

I'm not talking about his performances, just the way he is playing.. he is coasting through games, not bothering to lay any pressure or get in and win the hard ball. Just kind of hovers outside the pack and gets some kicks out the back when the team switches.

Maybe that's because he is still protecting his knee, but it's not a good habit to get into.

Obviously he has plenty of skill, and we need to wait till 2016 before making any future calls on him, but that's just what I'm seeing atm.
Did you watch the last game? Quite a few people there were saying he was going in harder at contests. I haven't actually had a chance to watch the replay.

Maybe. Maybe not.

To be honest I reckon they can't be complete pricks at the trade table this year or they won't get anything done and will shoot themselves in the foot.

Somehow they need to obtain their 4 picks in the first 20 to start their St Kilda'esk rebuild.
St.Kilda are a great example of how to do it properly I reckon. Suck it up, let a few experienced players/stars go, then hit the draft with a sledgehammer. Suffer your 2 lean years, then watch it all start to come together. To think that Melbourne have had 2 or 3 goes at it over almost a decade now is ridiculous. Port Adelaide, Western Bulldogs and St.Kilda have all done a great job in my view. Carlton need to take off the rose coloured glasses, and see their list for what it really is.

If we were a chance to get Dangerfield and assuming Adelaide match the offer and Scharenberg wanted to go home. I would think a first round pick, Scharenberg and Kennedy for Dangerfield would be a decent offer that they might want to have a look at. They can use the first round pick on whatever they want to fill that midfield spot Dangerfield will leave open.

People who think that Dangerfield is a done deal to Geelong are probably the ones who though Franklin to GWS was a done deal as well. Nothing is a done deal people and we are still a chance.

He's a free agent we just need to put in a big offer. Crows won't match.

Then we'd do Shaz and Kennedy for Lever.

And still get Treloar.

And Yarran for our second round pick.

Crows will able to match up to a million and they will do that.

Couldn't care less for Lever or Treloar if we get Dangerfield.

A second round pick for Yarran I would do though. I think he needs a fresh start in a big way and will help us out in a big way with our disgraceful ball use in the backline.

Why would Geelong consider trading Motlop given his recent form?

Is it more a case of Motlop wanting to explore his options?

With future trading now in play a one two punch of Treloar and Motlop could be a small possibility if we have the salary cap room.

No free agent has been matched yet, if he wants to leave why would they make him stay?

IF Schazza is up for Trade. He could be part of the Treloar Trade

From the rumours circulating, Motlop isn't overly happy at Geelong and Geelong aren't happy with his off-field endeavours.

Given their age profile, they would be idiots to give him up without a fight.

If Carltons past is anything to go by they will not trade with us.
