id honestly think of trading witts and bringing in lunberger but I think we should have a crack at an outside mid lets do what Hawthorne do its time to go out throw some money or getsome that no one will expect and land him
IF the talks are Correct that Witts is off to the Dogs. Then Signing Luey might not be the Worse Idea

Luenberger is not going to go to a club as a free agent where he won't be the starting 22 ruckman. Get the idea out of your head that we'll get him, because we won't.

What happens if Grundy gets injured? Play Cox? LOL.
Cox has proven himself a competent ruckman against AFL standard ruckmen this year. Playing him in the seniors isn't as far fetched as you make it out to be. Particularly next year after he has another preseason and a VFL finals series under his belt.

Cox could very well play ahead of Grundy if his development continues at the rate it is.

His tap work is already better imo. (Don't tell Dave, dont want him going all Liam Neeson on me)

Grundy obviously better with ball in hand, contested marking.

I like Wittsy but if he he brings in some decent currency it should be entertained.

Cox is about another 2-3 Years away of Getting Ahead of Grundy and that is not Counting on Grundy’s Development that he still has to come

He's not as far off as you think Dave. I've never seen anything like Cox's development curve. Within the space of 12 months he's gone from never even picking up a footy to being capable of playing senior footy if neccessary. He will be best 22 within 12 months at this rate.

Stop jumping to conclusions. Of course Grundy has improvement in him, and given Cox's penchant for drifting forward and kicking goals I'd say there's a good chance they can co-exist in the same team.

It wouldn't surprise me at all though, if Cox ended up being superior to Grundy as a tap ruckman. That's not a knock on Grundy, it's just a testament to Cox's freakish physical traits and the ease with which he has been able to learn the game in such a short amount of time. In 12 months he's become better at a sport that hundreds of thousands of locals have played all their lives.

Unlike Witts and Grundy. I can actually see Grundy and Cox playing in the Same Side. Cox on Saturday looks quite Dangourse up Forward on the Lead.

So you can have Cox as 2nd Ruckman/Forward Option. Challenge for White’s Spot;)

Cox has a long way to go. Shown great improvement of bits and pieces of doing stuff, rucking or kicking but had very little Idea about reading the play still. Being bloody tall with long arms he's good at getting his hand on the ball in the ruck.

But would give us almost nothing as second ruck forward. And it would hurt his development,

When are you guys going to mark White on a level playing field?

There's a reason he is can only get in their VFL side, he is a crap player and wouldn't add a thing to our side.
Played a couple of games in VFL while recovering from a calf injury half way through the year and suffered a medial ligament injury.
Will most likely miss the rest of the season. Highly regarded at Hawthorn and is a rich man's Levi Greenwood. Came fourth and was considered stiff not to finish higher in Norm Smith voting last year.
Do some research prior to spouting absolute tripe.

Agree Pie Beast , but I'm sure in a 3 way trade we are entitled to trade MS for Motlop and then Cats on trade MS as long as he agrees.
I wouldn't want the club to do that deal even if possible, we are the worst off out of the three clubs. Long term I think Matt scharenberg is worth more than motlop
