Seriously what are we thinking / doing chasing this muppet ? Not what we need, we should be going hard for, Dixon, Carlisle, Day, Kruezer, Motlop or Yarran, surely throwing money at any two of these would be massive for us..
Enough of. Treloar crap!

You never say no to a potential top 5 and superstar mid/player of the game. He would be our second best player on our list and you would say no?

So on there AFL Tv Show?

Well until a Official Announcement I won’t 100% Believe anyone
Trust me TD, it's done!

Soo....at the risk of being black banned, Chris Dawes is out of favour at Melbourne, would we take him back?
If played as a forward, could free up Reid.
Personally, I love Cloke playing up the wing, but the issue is Cloke needs to clunk marks in the forward 50, he can't kick it to himself.
Dawes and Cloke could roam the flanks and wings and kick to each other?
I see many issues with this, fact is, if Dawes can't get a game at Melbourne, could he get a game at the Pies? I always liked him and thought he was played out of position which caused his downfall with us. 194cm playing as a ruck/forward after being built up and trained as a KPF. He was never going to have the endurance then, who knows maybe not now, maybe I've flawed my own plan...I dunno..
Howe is also on the outer, but wants a packet.
Annnnd ducking the veggies.....
we could be nice 7th rounder should do it:):( and for the money he was on when the sook left

yep.. unfortunately there are 2 types of players.. ones that are able to moneuvure with their heads upright and ones who have their heads down looking at their feet and the ball and typically whats straight ahead.. adams will always be the latter.. but enough improvement will see him be adequate enough to look sideways a lil more often.
He is still young so hopefully something he will work on over the Pre-Season.

I am happy with that Trade we did with Heater for Adams.

Heater was Frustrated being at Collingwood so moving to GWS has Extended his Career and Adams give us a Young Elite Clearance/Contested Posses in Midfielder that wins the ball

If the offer is now 6 years the deal is done.

Richmond and Norf offered him a 6 year deal, so it makes sense that the last part of securing him was to offer the same.

Welcome aboard Adam.

If he played as an 80% forward, 20% ruck, he would kick over 40 goals imo.

Me too, ill be joining you! $4 pies can't go wrong! At least someone trusts me!
Is the Reported Upping Offers to Treloar from us a worry this is not a Done Deal as people make it out to be?
No TD, if anything it's better for us. If I was Treloar and his management I wouldn't be signing anything longer than a 4 year deal.

Don't get me wrong as I think Kruezer is a great player but very injury ridden. It would be a big mistake if he came to the club.
If we got him, by round 3 there will be a 30 page toast thread.

Good player, love to get as free agent.
Massive upgrade on Witts plus we get a return on Witts "trade".

Club needs to do a thorough medical and make sure there is no problem. Scan every piece of injury history there is to scan and make sure there is no lingering issues. Much like Richmond did with Trengrove last year.

Us having to increase our offer isn't a sign he is desperate to join us.
More than likely, if this is true, Treloar (or more accurately his manager) have indicated they would prefer the longer offer, which has resulted in the Pies upping the offer too him. This is why he won't have told other suitors to go away even if he has decided on a preference. It keeps his options open and ensures he gets the deal he wants out of whoever he wants to play for.

I wouldn't think us upping our deal is an indication either way, just what happens as terms change through negotiations. In truth it will be at least two weeks before we get any indication of what Adam wants to do and a minimum of six before we can break out the champagne if he does choose us. Whilst it is exciting and more often than not these days players get to where they want to go, there is still a lot to play out here.

Kreuzer would be a formidable #1 ruck provided he can stay healthy. Has had an injury history that rivals Reid, so that's a big question mark already. But regardless, he isn't much of a permanent forward. He's been trialled before when Warnock got games as the #1 ruck.

Doesn't know when and where to lead, gets caught running under the ball too often and isn't a great contested mark. I say this in all honesty when Witts or Cox are better options. Witts has good leading patterns (just not strong enough to mark anything) whereas Cox is getting more capable by the game, with impressive physical attributes that might translate into him being a good second KPF.

Witts is the slowest player in the AFL.
No chance he can play successfully forward. Zero.

Witts gets to more than enough contests to make an impact. He just needs to hold his marks instead of letting them all slip. Alternatively, a zippy small crumbing forward buzzing at the feet of Witts and Cloke would guarantee us goals every game. A guy like Betts or Wingard would give the Coleman a shake in our high ball bombing forward structure.

I was under the impression Kennedy was recruited for that. But he plays inside mid at VFL and some weird HFF/Mid at AFL level.

I very much doubt Witts will be at Collingwood next season. I reckon he is on the trade table for sure.
