I wouldn't be surprised if we have to throw in a best 22 midfielder... everybody seems to think we can trade in a star for a fringe player and a pick, it may not necessarily work like that.

and How did you come up with this?

I say they be more Plans.

I know it’s no Done Deal yet but Hine would Figure Something Out.

Not the 1st Time a Player who was asked to be part of the Trade has Said he would not be Traded
It's not all about Collingwood Dave.

GWS have to agree as well.

I said we are still strong favourites, but if you think this deal is over the line you could end up very disappointed.

Seeds is pretty obvious but two family members via different sources.

Witts was rumored and one of my sources reckons he has been told. The fact he has refused to be traded confirms he is on the block. GWS have apparently been into him for 4 months and they just need to show him some love to convince him.

He may want to go to Sydney.
OK, let's hope the Swans go out in straight sets if that's the case.

The Witts tweet is interesting. If GWS are after a good young ruck, Witts reluctance to move to Sydney could create problems.

I thought Witts was a Syd guy

Going back to my previous thread. It will help considerably if Treloar plays hard ball. In other words tell GWS Collingwood or preseason draft!
In that case Richmond could offer everyone including future picks and the kitchen sink it wont make a difference.
He is out of contract so he will have more say on his deal then Beams who had 12 months on his contract left.
No future draft picks guys! At the same time i would be willing to give any of White Toovey Greenwood Varcoe Goldsack .We need to be bold and GWS may find hard bodied experience players desirable. I would give 2 of the above mentioned players.
Future draft picks your trading your future. For a key position gun ie Cameron i would think about it.
Midfielders are a dime a dozen . Key position guns are not.
Dont foget they gave Boyd away for a first rounder and the ex Buldogs captain.

Even though they just got here, Greenwood or Varcoe could be part of a Treloar deal. Adams and DeGoey are the future, Pendles is untouchable obviously and is probably Sidebottom, Swan is too old, and I don't see anyone else they'd value.

plan B is 2015/16 1st rounder for Treloar and Steak Knives...?

Definitely makes things more interesting amd if Scoop is on the money GWS were interested in Witts

Why Not? He be just about our Highest Paid Player. Be about 3rd or 4th
Where do you think we'll finish next season? Keep in mind we've been regressing every year for 5 years now. Just say we have pick 12, if we trade that and pick 7, especially considering Beams (who is better than Treloar AND was contracted) was worth pick 5, steak knives and 25, then that is overs.

Really sucks that Witts has apparently refused to be traded. I'm confident it will be our first, second and steak knives however.

Does anyone else wish they DIDN'T stay up to date with trade rumours? I was happy just hearing from the mainstream news that Treloar had nominated Collingwood, and Aish and Kreuzer had shown interest. Reading these threads and getting all the day by day info from different sources (some of which contradict one another) is actually kind of stressful.

I think I need to ban myself from these threads until trade week.

If that happens then no Aish for us.

Best way to get a ban is to post a Beeg thread on the main board. :D

If we miss out on Trealor because Witts refuses to go to GWS, he would become the most hated player at the club.
Unless Grundy gets injuried, he would be lucky to play 4 games next year.
So better move on.
