If you want to be bold
Straight swap Treloar-Greenwood Varcoe Gws would love some hard on ballers

Aish- Seedsman and 2nd rounder
Freeman-Hawks first rounder
Or if stkilda love freeman so much either Acres or Dunstan
Can't see GWS doing that. Apart from anything else, they need to shed players, not swap one for two. Plus they need points for their academy kids.

Still think there is one major difference with say the Beams deal , in comparison with Aish and Treloar and even Freeman.
Beams had 12 months in his contract left, and he still got the club of his choice!
Unfortunate for us Freeman is not, but on the upside Treloar and Aish are!
If the person's of interest for us play hard ball Pies or nothing! I do not see us giving any future picks! Even if we get both.
Secondly GWS and the Lions can not afford either of them going in the pre season draft.
Freeman in a worse case scenario , if he wants to stay in Victoria we can play hard ball ask for a player like Dunstan or Acres or send him in the preseason draft and let the Lions pick him up instead of a Victorian club.
If Freeman really wants to leave for opputunities you might find a pick 14 to 18 in a open market is possible. For fudge sake he was top 10!

I love the possible three way trade with StKilda and GWS.

GWS will receive an early second round pick and a first round pick for Treloar and StKilda get their man.

Seedsman and our second round pick go to Brisbane for Aish and it's happy days at Collingwood.
There is growing speculation that Aish may be going to Adelaide or Hawthorn, although we are definitely interested and in the race for his services.

I still think mate they would find to hard bodied experience players apealling. It would really compliment there young on ballers.
Levi is 26 or 27 Varcoe 27.
They gave Boyd away for Griffin 30yr old plus and a first rounder and we all know young key forwards are worth more then midfeilders

They have Ward, Shiel, Coniglio, Greene, etc. Just don't see it as such a need that they'd value Greenwood and Varcoe enough to take that deal.

What can the Hawks offer most likely even there future pick will be 16 plus similar to this year. They dont have gun youngsters, just golden oldies! Aish for Seedsman and 2nd rounder or Aish for Freeman is it that unrealistic?

Brisbane may see Hawthorns 1st round pick (around pick 16) as a better option than our 2nd round pick (which will be around pick 26) and Seedsman.

I would think Seedsman could command a pick 20 to 30 on his own.especially as reported at least 3 clubs have at least have shown intetest. And one of them is Brisbane!

Like I said pick 26 or there abouts may not really land much in this draft and whilst I am aware that Seedsman will land a pick in the late 20's on his own. These picks only relevance is based on what talent will be available in the draft. Pick 16 may be like gold in this draft in comparison.

Is there any other teams?
Yeah and Bolton was on radio tonight saying they'd expect a 1st rounder for him. Please! The banter between Tigers and Blues fans will be interesting there.

Going to be a lot of first rounders traded this year if all the clubs initial claims are anything to go by.

So far today I've heard:

GC want two first rounders for both Dixon and Bennell
Carlisle for a first rounder
Aish for Hawks 1st
Lewis Jetta for WC 1st.

Even read that Bombers want a first rounder for Melksham. They are kiddding themselves.

Crazy time of year.

I read tonight that SEN reported Essendon are asking for a first rounder AND Jeremy Howe for Melksham. I know Essendon notoriously overrate their own players, but that is the single most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Pay a premium, get a cod ordinary, mid level plodder in return. Sure thing Dons! Are you high?

Fair bit of info in one place here [a few things of direct relevance to us]:
SEPTEMBER 17, 5pm: TRADE WHISPERS
http://www.afl.com.au/trade/trade-talk

'...Collingwood remains the favourite to win Lion James Aish's signature but some rival clubs suspect Hawthorn could yet swoop in late to snare the on-baller.
Aish is yet to inform the Lions that he wants a trade, but equally has given no indication that he is about to sign the three-year contract the club has had on the table for much of this year. Speculation is that one of Aish's suitors is still participating in the finals... Out-of-contract Collingwood runner Paul Seedsman could find a new home in 2016, with North Melbourne, Brisbane Lions and Adelaide all believed to be interested in the defender/wingman'... In a year when ruckmen appear in demand, Matthew Kreuzer looks more certain to stick with the Blues under new coach Brendon Bolton...

Main D&T board. Throw in Lennon to Carlton and have the popcorn ready. Outcome should be interesting for us. Richmond without a 1st rounder can't possible do a deal for Treloar.

The line that 'one of Aish's suitors is still participating in finals' is something I've suspected for a little bit now, and could well explain his willingness to stay in limbo for the moment. I have a niggling feeling that the Hawks have been making some sneaky offers to him on the sly...
