Also I must say, I love how Aish went in to collect his summer training program. Hopefully he forwarded it onto collingwood, they made any necessary adjustments and he comes to our club in pristine condition

I feel your pain. 2 daughters and both kick like mules. I have taken to using a pillow for protection. Or sleeping on the couch
I'd be happy with treloar and aish. Don't think Bennell is on our radar...

A I've tried the pillow. I've tried everything. I can't sleep on the couch because everytine I do I wake up with neck spasms/migraines.

I'd be happy with Trevor and aish. Would be nice if we back ourselves in for Bennell. Would make us unstoppable

Kudos though to Hine and Co if they manage to turn a pick 70 something Seedsman into a 2nd rd pick. From all reports, people were shocked he even got picked up in the first place. Would be the perfect replacement for Harvey at norf too. Seedo goes at about 95% uncontested possessions, loves the old 1-2 and frequents around his teammate when he's lining up to have a shot from outside 50m. "Boomer" Seedsman

Paul Seedsman to North Melbourne for their 2nd Round Pick.

North's 2nd Round Pick + Our Current 2nd Round Pick to Brisbane for James Aish.

Nathan Freeman to StKilda for their 2nd Round Pick.

Saint's 2nd Round Pick + 1st Rnd 2016 + 2nd Rnd 2016 for Adam Treloar and Adam Tomlinson

Out: 2015 2nd Round Pick, 2016 1st&2nd Round Picks, Freeman, Seedsman

In: Treloar, Tomlinson, Aish

Leaving us with Pick 7 this year to bring in another gun or use in draft on say Sam Wiedeman or Callum AhChee.
Looks ok, except for trading ourselves out of next years draft...risky business IMO.
We still require picks for next year (2nd round at least).
But love the idea of landing 'The Weid'.

Would love any scenario that enables us to stay in the draft and pitch for the Weid. Though my gut says Brisvegas will try ream us for more than 2nds for Aish after we got Crispo and made them look silly. Loving all the fatherhood chat BTW - respect - apart from anything else

What other teams?
Can someone fill me in as things don't match up in my n00bish head.
We delisted 6, lose PK, Seed and Freeman. Have feelers out for a few like Witts and Oxley.
That is 9 gone at least . All I hear are picks in return used for AT and Aish as it is a weak draft.
We are getting AT , Aish is 50/50. Kreuzer we are cold on.
I am missing at least 5 or 6 players. We might draft a few but it is slim pickings, maybe 2 or 3.
Who else do we have in our sights?

.

I really hope we get more than just Treolar back for 2 first rounders. We would have been more than happy for 2 first rounders for beams last year, and has good as treolar is... He's not the level of beams yet.
I think we should get a "steak knife", in GWS that is a top 20 draft pick anyways.
I think GWS would give us a steak knife. Last time I checked, GWS need to cut their list by 4 at least and then probably 2 more just to bring in their academy listed players.

Just thought I'd provide some info. in relation to Paul Seedsman and his forthcoming departure.

Buckley and Co have always had very high hopes for Seedsman. His line breaking pace and long kicking always appealed to Buckley and provided a point of difference to our other players.

However, Seedsman has no one else to blame but himself for the fact that he is no longer wanted. The club has been warning Seedsman time and time again this year about his off-field behaviour and his off-field lifestyle in general. When he injured his hip again a week or two after anzac day, they warned him not to go out but he refused to listen. They were disappointed that he chose to live a bad lifestyle instead of dedicating himself to getting his body absolutely right in the way a Pendlebury, or of the new-comers, a Scharenberg would.

All year they have had chats to him about his party lifestyle, yet the penny never dropped for Paul. Paul isn't a bad kid but he lives a lifestyle where he is easily influenced by his group of mates who aren't professional footballers and are able to go out a few times a week. His living arrangements (living with his two mates who do the Angry Dad videos) haven't helped and the club has not been happy with his living arrangements.

It got to a point where the club believed they had spoken to Paul and tried to guide him as much as they could that they have now given up. To put it frankly, they believe he has pissed his AFL career up against the wall. What makes it more disappointing is that Paul loved the club as a kid and if he had a more mature head on his shoulders, would have made a success of his career at Collingwood.
Thanks for sharing this.

I'm hoping we take another punt on a talented mature ager or two in the rookie draft. Shane Yarran goes OK and you can never have enough firepower so why not give him a try. Also very keen on Bennell though it's highly unlikely to happen.

Thanks Pietime. Is Lamb that boy from Ballarat? Anyone know his details as a player?
Previously with the Swans, smallish forward. Hasn't had much of a crack at the Giants, I'd prefer many others before him personally.

Bugg on the other hand would be a decent get I think. Didn't see much of him this year but had a particularly good debut year. Good size, fairly good in tight, plays down back and can go through the midfield - but as I said, didn't see much of him this year. Only issue is we have a fair few of his type on the list already.

I haven't had a full nights sleep in 2 years. Once they get out of nappies, if you're lucky, your son will wake up like clockwork at 12.30-1.30 run in to your room, use your head as climbing apparatus, pull your remaining hair out, wedge himself between you and the wife, and then proceed to kick you in knackers every 20-30 mins like mine does. And the bugger only does it to me. definitely a mummy's boy.

Anyway, I had a trade idea. The gurus here can let me know if it's plausible.

How about. 2016 first rounder and 3 x 2nd rounders (2x 2015, 1 x 2016) for trelaor.

Freeman and pick 7 to saints. For pick 5 and their second.

pick 5 to GC for their second rounder and Bennell.

Seedsman to Brisbane and the fx 2nd rounder for Aish.

We get get treloar, Bennell, and aish. Wouldn't it be nice.
LOL!!! The first part regarding children is spot on. I like your trade scenario however, Pert, Balme and Bucks are on record this year as stating that they have finally moved out the disruptive influences and practices, and improved the culture in the process so they won't be bringing Bennell in
