All the premiership teams have some spudness floating through, they play at hawthorn then its gush gush
Play with say melbourne then its they are spuds

Or another example our very own J Blair with us its all sorts of commentary but if was in Hawthorn, wow great little player such atack
Er, such courage, its all relative
Your reckon Blair is talented enough to win an Anzac day medal?

I mean a third rounder is not enough IMHO for a top 10 pick whose had 2 years in the system and only has had a bad run of injuries preventing him from breaking into our best 22. They (Saints) must rate him enough to throw a nice contract at him yet by all reports (Experts on Trade Raddio today) stating that a 3rd rounder might be what the Pies will have to take.
That's piss weak if it happens our clubs put a bucket load of work into this kid. As a Collingwood member I'm going to be very disappointed if that's all we can garner for a guy whose got potentially another 10 years in the system. You don't get picked in the top 10 for nothing. In this case he potentially has.
Pfft. Terry Wallets and Purple?
Wallace based his assessment of Freeman's value on what Brisbane accepted for players like Yeo and Polec during their exodus the other year...
Why, you ask? Probably to piss off [or please] people who were listening, or maybe he is actually that dumb.

In terms of trade, whats Sidebottom worth?
His intrinsic/Sentimental value to the pies makes his value probably more than he would be worth on the open market and more than other clubs would be willing to give up. Fan favourite, loves the pies by all accounts, the club loves him.

The offer would probably have to be something ridiculous for the Collingwood management to decide it was a good idea to send him elsewhere.

From North you're probably looking at something like Cunnington + 1st Rounder as a minimum

On his day he could.
I dont want to burst any bubble here, but it is only a best on ground for a highly attended home and away game. See McGough as an example.
Seedsman overall to me better player than Blair. He played a cracker game.
But Blair is ok but just a player say in the group top 20 - 30 players depending on form etc.
All id suggest is that if Blair was at Hawthorn he would get more rave reviews as thats what happens in the top teams.

Woah! Cunnington and a 1st? Cunnington won our best and fairest last season.
Some would say Cunnington has gone past Sidebottom in the last 2 seasons.

I think The Voice is trying to carve out some sort of niche area for himself as a commentator, probably comes cheap to SEN, after all they have to pay Gazey, errr they pay that nuckle head?

I don't know if i've missed the memo or im missing some greater reason, but can anyone give me a valid reason why when:

- Seedsman is half way out the door, Freeman is by all accounts a saint.

Why the Collingwood list management team has made it known they have absolutely no interest in Bennell, Jetta or even Yarran? In Seedsman and Freeman thats alot of pace walking out the door in an already fairly slow side, surely when there is those level of players available for essentially nothing(particularly in the case of Yarran and Bennell)?

I just don't get what im missing here, we are arguably one of the slowest teams in the comp and we are about to get slower yet we aren't even considering these three as viable options? Really i'd like someone elses opinion

your first is pretty low and it's a shit draft, I persoanlly don't see how north could trade for sidebottom.. What makes you ask about a sidebottom trade? I can't see north giving up a cunnington or zieball, your first rounder is so low and no young players that would interest us outside of garner.
Most realistic would be garner + established mid but once again it's counter productive for north to do that.

100% he is a gun, the reason I say Cunnington is because theres no way the Pies would give up a fan favourite and a young gun unless there was an obvious overs being paid.

North wouldn't give up Cunnington and nor should you
