If we could get Sicily through a witts trade that would be a big get. Would fit well alongside Moore and fill a best 22 need (im not confident in cox).
I can't see Hawks trading him at all, they desperately lack tall fwds and he has shown he has the ability to be a very good one.

It would be like us trading Moore. Even if we were offered pick 1 by Ess I wouldn't take it. Proven talent is worth more than a highly rated unproven kid. Boyd is a great example of that, Wright and Moore are embarrassing Boyd.

Good call, do you think it's a straight swap though? Might be a swap of picks aswell, but it'd be close.
Yeah maybe a swap of each clubs 2nd and 3rd round picks so swans move up the order a few spots in each round. Id think Mitchell is above Bruest in value.

Only question is how much is Bruest on, if Swans can only offer Mitchell 380k I can't see them be able to afford to pay Bruest more. Buddy contract and lack of COLA starting to hit home.

Sicily is 186cm so he's hardly a tall. I think they can afford to lose him with Gunston and Bruest (if he stays).

I'll be dirty if Hine gets the boot. Hasn't done much wrong over the past few years but has been unlucky with his recruits getting injured. Still reckon he's up there with the best recruiters in the league. I'd hate to see him go to Richmond.
Agree. Letting Hine would be a Massive Mistake.

He is 1 of the best at his job in the AFL

That free kick can't be encouraged. Young kids don't know how to turn their bodies when going for a ground ball and ****in free kicks like that encourages them to drive th head into the player. BULLSHIT.

It would be madness.

Is there any other teams?
Hines far from safe.. Whole recruiting group isn't guaranteed deals beyond 2016.
In Hine We Trust.

In saying that I don't think this is such a bad thing. Extra pressure and consequences on the team to nail trade and draft period could be what we need to make some tough calls.

Hine Nailed last years off-season and least found 1 good new player every Off-Season

You're a very funny guy- but here's a hint, you don't need to be so obvious in your contempt for the club with ridiculous posts like the above.
I don't think it was ridiculous. It's a different opinion and different perspective, whether you agree with that or not. I don't believe it shows contempt for the club. It's a pretty ordinary claim to level at fellow passionate Pies supporter actually. I wish more posters could show some basic respect for one and other in this thread. It isn't that difficult.

There is and age article linking Stewart to Carlton but it also links Stewart to Collingwood because Gubby played with Craig Stewart apparently.

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-ne...t-on-carlton-blues-radar-20160917-grikfa.html
Talk about tenuous links:

"The return of Graeme Allan to Collingwood, having overseen the development of the Giants' list, including the drafting of Stewart, is likely to see the Pies declare an interest in the 22-year-old. Allan played alongside Craig Stewart in the early '80s at Collingwood."

So we are likely to declare an interest because Gubby has returned? Pretty lazy writing. Did he need to fill a few extra lines?
