Tis the season - If you can't enjoy GF day buy a kitten
What if I did enjoy it but still want to buy a kitten & the reason I couldn't buy a kitten was the kitten store was closed because it's grand final day?

Lots of 'kitten stores' should be open in the CBD.

Leaves Collingwood to get AFL games but Goes to Dogs to play Mostly VFL Footy:straining:
I literally don't get it. He cracks the shits at Buckley for dropping his lazy ass so in retaliation, requests a trade to the club whose coach would no doubt sit him in the reserves for the entire season if he doesn't improve. Doesn't want to fight White and a brand-new American import but thinks he can beat a breaking out Tom Boyd, gun Tory Dickson and impressive progressors Redpath and Cordy and the returning Crameri all to the best 22. He's putting his career to bed.

Can see that on one hand, on the other, they won today with almost no marks in their 50.

You do realise that the Bulldogs have finished 4, 13, 15, 15, 14, 6, 7 over past seven years. We started our rebuild a few years behind them. Similar story re Weagles a few years ago. No reason we can't be contending like them in a few years if core group of next generation (Treloar, Adams, Grundy, DeGoey, Moore, Aish, Maynard, Shaz, Elliott) stay on the park.

Things never as good as they seem, never as bad as they seem either.
In few years time?
Sure we can contend by then and I'm half expecting us to.
But going after the names that are thrown around will aid sfa in achieving that as they will all be done by then.
Not to mention the fact all of them apart from Wells are pretty much cooked already.
Like I said earlier, all this strategy can achieve is create the illusion we're on the right path.

Because Grundy marked everything that came his way.
Cloke there would have either marked it or brought it to ground you would think.
They'll be better with him there.
Grundy read the play better than what the Dogs did and yes when it did hit the deck, the Swans seemed cooked. They'd be counting on Cloke to read the play just as well as the likes of Grundy.

Those names are for at least 50% incorrect, so why all the upheaval.
And to be honest why should we care how old a certain player is as long as he fills one of the gaps in our list. Even if it is a stop gap measure. Better than nothing and it doesn't burn us in pursuing other players.
Whether youth is coming through the ranks is the last thing we should be worried about.

This is a key point I raised earlier but it got buried.

We could have up to 10 list changes, so we will have plenty of picks at the draft. The key to the players we have been linked with is that they are free agents. They will not cost us draft picks.

I think we should take about 4-5 picks to the draft, which leaves us about 3 spots to take experienced players and 2 rookie promotions

The story that Cloke wants out of Collingwood is only partly true. Bucks has made it clear to Cloke that he is no longer a first choice player and has been encouraged to explore his options.
