Obviously my second scenario came true 24 hours later.
Why are we getting rid of him?
Becouse under Malthouse he was still a crap kick but still a very good forward. If i am not mistaken also a 2 time All-Australian.
Under Buckley just the way we have declined under him every year so has he.

Maybe you should ask Nathan?
Once under Malthouse, once under Buckley

It was supposed to say "Cloke is a part of our future plans and any discussion of trading him is wrong now do you look like an almighty idiot?" Bucks said last year Cloke wasn't going to be traded and was apart of the future of the club. He's an idiot is what I was trying to say.
Well it didnt say it did it? No that you corrected yourself it did. My reply was based on your reply with the mistakes. I could only go by what i read.
Lets be civil and cut out the abuse.

Yeah, this is something I don't get. Collingwood has been very open about the fact that Clokey is contracted, and that any trade a club comes up with would have to be worthwhile.

I don't see how a third round pick and us paying his wage is worthwhile at all. What are these 'industry sources'? Random shit posts on Big Footy?
Random media plebs over beers.

Sav Rocca was way better under Shaw than Malthouse
Heath Scotland was better under all of those many Carlton coaches than he was under Malthouse. Nick Davis under Roos. Rhyce Shaw won a premiership and had career best form under Longmire after being traded due to off field issues. Chris Tarrant while very good as a forward was traded (due to off field issues....where have I heard that before:oops:) but reinvented by Mark Harvey, to become an excellent defender. Outside of Chris Tarrant, we got a shit return on those players.

After reading some of that prognosis of the patella tendon issue, that JOM might just have, that is a terrible career outlook. He'd need a thorough check to sign off on anything. Thanks The Royal Sampler.

In saying that, Stevie J bit our arse in 2006. I'd hate to be saying the same thing 10 yeast from now, if JOM went to Essendon or carlton.

I think you need to actually do your homework. Cloke's final year of his contract was decent but not great. His 2013, the first year of his new contract was career best.
Correct as they say on Iron Chef, if memory serves me right, he was actually mediocre in that contract year and all and sundry put it down to contract distractions.

Sorry if i's been mentioned already but is there any news about James Stewart?
Out of contract. Any interest from other clubs, or ours?
Might be a handy pickup.

Hope hes not a slow as his old man though

Would be ironic to get rid of the son of a premiership Richmond CHF who kicked six against us in the GF and replace him with the son of the bloke who played on him that day....

Tim Membrey still yet to re-sign after 44 goals in just 17 games. He and Moore together sounds scrumptious.

Highly doubt he leaves though.
Would be great to pick membrey up after losing freeman (looking even more like a gift with every passing hammy).

Is he a KPF? haven't seen much of him but he seems to play that role yet is listed at 188?

Gee I didn't realise he was that small - then again his high mark numbers this year have been 10, 10, 9, 8 and a few 7's so he's certainly capable in that role I'd think. Moore would get the best defender every time also, allowing him to flourish like at St Kilda (Bruce tends to get the #1 defender)

John butcher has officially been delisted by port adelaide, if we cant land a good cloke replacement then it might be an idea to atleast rookie him as a short term backup, he is just as bad a kick if not worse than cloke but handy back up if required due to injuries.
