I'd argue the last 4 flags have been won without a true dominant key forward. dogs didn't have one. roughdead isnt a dominant big (he plays more like medium tall) and gunston is a 3rd tall. their biggest talls were the resting rucks in hale and macevoy.

buddy is an interesting case. hasn't won a GF since going to Sydney and the hawks have won 2 since. were the hawks better when he left? and is he the really helping Sydney win a flag?

I'm happy with multiple mobile marking targets in moore, white, Elliot, fasolo, mayne.

carlton an brisbane have drafted young talls in the last couple of drafts. we'll see how they go in a few years.
I agree that tall forwards aren't what they were, and having a power forward isn't really necessary these days. My main concern is, the way our list is setup, if Moore gets injured again, unless we are planning on relying on jesse White going forward, we legit have nothing. Who will play Moores role if Moore goes down? One thing all the good teams have in common is depth

Hypothetical (this won't happen, just polling the electorate):

If the pick the Suns give us for Witts Brisbane was happy to take for Rockliff, would you do it?
So effectively swap a VFL standard ruckman (Witts) for top-self AFL mid who averages nearly 30 touches per match (Rockliff)? And you're asking if we'd be willing to consider it? Was that a rhetorical question?

Any chance of a 4:30 reveal today (like the last two days) that can roll into trade daily?

Was just thinking that. Seems to always happen; listen to Trade Radio all day at work, nothing happens, then drive home and be offline for half an hour or so... and next minute we've signed a mop to go with our broom.

I agree we have too many inside types and this a greenwood might be expendable if it helped get us a young KPP , but you are being a little hard on him Mike.
He kicked more goals than any other midfielder in 2016, and finished I think 6 th in the Copland ( not sure on that). Given his tagging roles that is a pretty fair output, but I guess in terms of age and potential suitiors he fits the bill better than others. His rating #1 I'm goals from mids tells you our other mids poor last year in this aspect ( especially some of the higher rated ones )
He's had some good games as tagger but he's hit or miss, never guaranteed to shut his man down. As for him kicking goals I'm happy for him to play as defensive forward at the expense of Blair and Mayne because he knows where the goals are he just doesn't know where our teammates are.

Geez only person to get anything right on Bigfooty makes me not want to post updates, check out the last 6 months from Swan retiring 2 weeks before it was annouced, Caff taking a role at Collingwood, Brown being 50/50 on a contract 3 months back, plenty more, tough critics.
But at least you're a funny guy....
:)
That's pure gold....

You're missing the whole point, but ok.
No I'm not. I think you are.

I am not interested in why a Barrett does what he does, nor the reasons behind it or what he is trying to achieve by what he does. Nor people excusing him via 'it is what it is deal with it.' It's not appropriate in my opinion and I will call him and others out for it.

Margot Robbie's Shaving Team...
Didn't he say that he 'could confirm' that Marsh has walked out in a thread he made?

Or am I thinking of someone else?
yes I think you got it spot on..... but i've been told that we're not talking about it because it was a story invented to get some attention and I think we can all remember making up silly stories in school to get a little attention and try to increase our popularity.

btw i used to play vfl for the pies in the 70s...

Gibbs will get traded this is why.

Gibbs and his partner just recently had a child, This wasn't planned, Gibbs has been struggling balancing being a father and party boy, has done alot of late night drunk text to mates, his partner is also struggling with having to do alot of the work by herself.

They both decided it was best to move back to Adealide where both families live so they can get some support.

He has a valid reason to return home.
