All that is fantastic in theory, but it's easier said than done if you suddenly become a parent before you're ready for it. I know that I wouldn't have coped at times without support from my family, and I can count on one hand the amount of times in the past 3 1/2 years that I've 'palmed off' my kids to their grandparents.

Frankly, what you wrote there was a little offensive to myself and any young parents struggling to adjust.
Gibbs isn't young. If you're not ready to be at parent at 27 you never will be.

I'm quite happy with our key position stocks.

Bulldogs just won a flag with not that much (Boyd had a blinder in the GF) but give Moore, cox and white time they will be good.
Glad got are because I'm not, Moore will be a star no doubt but White could go backwards again and Cox won't play more than 30 games for Collingwood, his slow and useless with the ball on the ground and those guys get found out in big games.
Down back We may only have Reid who is injury prone, Keefe who's missed 12 months and wasn't really playing that will before that and Marsh who I like but is still raw.
It's the main weakness of the side ATM.

I didn't feel ready to be a parent at 30 when my first arrived. Its not the same for everyone, and people are having kids much later these days.
I'm 33 and don't have any so can't say much, however I'm interested to know what you hadn't done by the time you were 30 that meant you weren't ready for kids?

Listen to it on the AFL app.
If your car has bluetooth it can be played through your car speakers.
Yeah trust me, I usually do. But I finish at 5 which is the same time Trade Radio finishes up. Seems that stuff is still getting done after this time, or at least was last night with Mayne.

They both struggled. I'm not exactly certain what was strong about his year aside from one good performance v Selwood and some good signs as a defensive forward? It was a poor season from him let's not sugar coat it by comparing elsewhere.
Don't know mate, 18 touches, 6.5 tackles, and a goal a game is a pretty fair return from a tagger, hardly poor you would think.

Had my fourth at 48 and still not ready, cos you never are. But all the worry and lack of sleep worth it Apex
And I have to admit it's not only the 18 to 20 to who er, how do I say it , receive unanticipated gifts from their actions.

Just posted on Collingwood website...........

Collingwood was today informed by Jonathon Marsh that for personal reasons he wants to return to his home state of Western Australia.

The 20 year-old defender, who hails from the Margaret River region of WA, explained that he needs to be closer to his family and friends.

Collingwood has been, and will continue to be, in contact with Jonathon and his family and will make certain Jonathon’s health and wellbeing are best served.

Jonathon has played 15 senior matches in his three seasons at the Holden Centre after being drafted in the fifth round of the 2013 national draft.

The club will be making no further comment.
