According to Kane Cornes, Marsh will net a 5th or 6th rounder at best. Not sure which planet he currently resides on but a player of his attributes and potential surely warrants much more.
He's unproven, has had a bad hamstring injury, is an unreliable kick, and now has a mental health issue (with full sensitivity to that)... he's worth less than Ahern

WT, I am trying to be fair on Cornes but gee he judges inconsistently.
I don't get him suggesting a late first round for WHE when Steele went for late second.
I don't understand Witts being a fourth round.
I don't understand his approach to Gibbs, and he surely does not like the Crows.
forget being fair the guy has no idea

Cornes is very much a 'look at where they were drafted and base their value on that' type operator.

Marsh was taken late and thus that's why he'd think he's worth that.

On the first day of Trade Radio he valued WHE as being worth a first round pick, which you'd assume was solely based on his draft position a number of years ago.

Hopefully, at least some of what's needed has already been agreed in principle and is just being held up by other deals.
Yep that's my hope. We really need to see whats pans out. We nust look awfully vulnerable right now. It only makes sense if we have something up our sleeves.

Jack Grimes anyone ? I know his had his injury and form issues, but i think he just needs a fresh start. he will come in for nothing and given our limited tall stocks in the backline would be handy

He is the same / similar height as Maynard. Neither are tall enough to help with size in the backline.

Edit - Grimes 187cm, Maynard 186cm

He is only 187cm, not really a tall defender.
If we're going to go down that path I would prefer Henderson, 188cm and a bit yonger.
