thought dunn was actually handy in 14 & 15, if he can do that again in 17 for us im happy to pick him up for a nothing pick

very hard to see the afl banning one of the best players from gws for 4 years...
He was once a decent player not so sure of last few seasons.

At the end of the day club needs stop gap options as we have Sweet FA currency to trade, no decent picks in the draft and had over half our talls leave.

Witts, Cloke, Frost, Brown, Marsh and ughGualt.

While none are currently stars many are capable of playing a role and helping us hold structure plus pressure on spots/back ups.

Nah im not to fussed either. So il side with you :p

Tbh I suspect he will just be used as depth to Reid and Keeffe, you would be crazy to go into the season without any depth to the KP area.
Agree - and he is faster more agile, can kick both sides of his body so is better than Brown in these areas.
But he is older and 2cm shorter.

Jeezuz what part of we don't have any trade currency is obscure ? ? ? Our backline has been partially stripped at the last moment, we need soilders to hold the line.

Perhaps some of you would like to play Williams at FB and Blair at CHB ???

There is no backline talent available for the currency we have, so we get in soldiers to hold the line.

I don't see how Gubby all of a sudden gets 4 years, without going through a natural justice procedure and getting the opportunity to provide his case to the commission.

'4 years' also seems to have been pulled from the worst scenario under ADRV suspensions, when he isn't being investigated currently by the ASADA.

Yes again. The aim of trading is to improve your list it just beggars belief that you don't understand that concept!
You don't seem to understand that it goes without saying that whatever the football department does is intended and expected to improve the list, and that your personal belief that the moves won't work is a difference of opinion, and not a strategic flaw on their part.

Guys just been told Gubby will recieve a 4 year ban this week

Not from my club source, someone who gets the occasional inside stuff.
Who really knows to be honest. I know people like to speculate, but GWS had the case reviewed some time ago by a QC and reportedly cleared Gubby / Lambert / Whitfield. So it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

If he is suspended major embarrassment for Eddie / Pert for recruiting Gubby without waiting for the investigation to have been completed. Heads should roll at Collingwood if this turns out to be true.

Wow......doesnt say much about how the club rated Frost and Brown does it. In saying that he is a better kick than them and takes the kick outs i think so having someone competent there would be helpful. Got a massive roost on him doesnt he?
and the other positives are?

No, can see plenty other hardcore Buckley apologists rapt with this move.
Despite it being apparent that Bucks is not calling the shots?
I'm ambivalent at the moment however, he is a better kick than Frost and Brown, can play both ends of the field and is experienced.
If we get him for next to nothing, then I think it's a fair call.

Crows last year for Dangerfield.
Actually if you want to be technical I don't think they did. They made so much noise about how they were going to that I'm pretty sure the Cats bypassed FA and went straight to trade discussions from memory.
