Rockliff is obviously a quality player, and we'd have to be mad not to at least consider him.
But...
...you'd have to think we'd start stretching the budget a little far bringing in Wells, Mayne and then Rocky this trade period. Surely if Rocky was a possibility, it would hamstring the Mayne deal along with any rumours we'd heard about landing a "big fish" in 2017.
Then you've got the question of how to find enough trade currency for him without a first round pick to spend, this year or next. We'd probably need all of the currency generated from the potential Witts, Williams, Brown and Frost trades, plus a little more, to satisfy a club which (rightfully) hates what we've done to them at the trade table.
And then you've got the strong rumours about Rocky's off field behaviour which would fly in the face of everything we hear about Bucks' culture and his desire for utmost professionalism.
I think he'd be an excellent player for us, and a midfield rotation of Grundy, Pendles, Treloar, Wells, Adams, Sidebottom, Crisp and Rockliff is insane, but this all seems just a bridge too far at the moment.
