I would happily deal you Ballantyne in a deal for Marley Williams however. Somebody more capable than Spurr in terms of marking the oppositions best small forward.

Ballantyne will be 30 next year while Williams is 23, both are pretty similar in terms of performance so a straight swap would be highway robbery.

Ballantyne is way too old for us to pay anything decent for.

Cheer up.
Compare the post game threads of them and ours. We coughed up just as bad but the mood is so different. Tigers make easy targets, gotta admit that.
Had the pleasure of watching my nephew dominate the last quarter in his Elimination final today so I am quite happy to be honest.

Just in case you didn't get it I don't care about the Tigers especially after our pathetic performance last week against them.

Again like I said to enjoy their loss.......to each his own.

Ballantyne has stated he is not interested in coming to Victoria. He wants to be traded to WCE. There is significant friction between a chunk of the playing group and Lyon. Sumich had signalled his intention to go back to WCE in some capacity and although Lyon and the club agreed that he would serve out the season, Lyon changed his mind without any further discussion and requested he leave immediately. This added to the friction as Suma has/had a good relationship with the majority of the players. Fyfe is a gettable player regardless of what people are stating on BF. He has a distant relationship with the coach and is happy to move interstate to a football state. Furthermore, there is a possibility of a trade occurring this year if he wants out so Freo maximise any currency.

So I think we are 0 chance of getting him... but seeing as we aren't playing finals and don't have much else to talk about, what would it take to get him?
Salary wise I think we could cover a bit, if Swan and Cloke were to move on. Trade wise, we wouldn't have the currency. Treloar was worth 2x first rounders right? So you'd think Fyfe would be worth more. Can't see how we'd be able to cover that.

When did that happen?
If you believe the rumours basically Adams was sick of Williams unprofessional attitude and it got physical in the changing room, nothing confirmed though.

Based on the way Williams is playing I'd be very surprised if they aren't true though, he looks to of checked out of the club
