I reckon clubs would happily give up 2 first round picks for Moore on his own at this point. The kids looking like being the next big thing, he just has it all.
when you talk about 2 1st rounders what are we exactly talking about. I would not consider any picks higher than 6 in meeting the 2 1st round pick equation.

Age would account for most of it would think but I think it reasonably well recognised Tim is a talent. Maybe mid 30's but you start looking at deals done in the mid 30's and doesnt feel quite right.
Better off retaining unless Broomhead wants out.

Good work Snoop.

I still find the value of Witts and Cloke trades a bit optimistic.

Particularly in light of some other trades like Zac Smith, McEvoy, Sam Jacobs, Billy Longer and Barry Hall trades for example.

I don't think either of those 2 boys are playing as well as most of the trades you mentioned.

Somewhere in the range of 25 to 30 and we've made out pretty decently I suspect (even considering academy/father sons pushing that back).
Its hard to judge bc the other overlay was how people rated the draft year and given this is a decent one then maybe what a pick 20 was worth in a certain years talent pool is different in another. Thats a meaningful overlay and certainly this year is a decent pool so you may be right.

Re the other comment though not sure I agree many of those blokes were going ok when they were traded. In fact most of them were not going that well with the exception of maybe McEvoy and Hall.

Marchbank would be a very good get. At least it would sure up our defense, in terms of our skills back there. How do you rate him?
He is a very highly rated talent. One of the blokes who can play tall and take a few different types. His decision making has been very good and he is physically strong in the contest. Decision making with the ball very good to. From all reports a good club guy as well.

Will be an interesting one for us bc it requires us to answer where we stand on Brown, Keefe, Frost and Marsh. Certainly dont need all those plus Marchbank.

How would you suggest it would happen otherwise, then?

If the rumours are that the Dogs are a chance to get Hurley and may part ways with Boyd to open up the salary cap, that is.

Ps did you just board search "Tom Boyd" to find my post? Surely you don't have that much time to stalk each club's trade thread...

What do you think it would realistically take to bring Walters over?
A one way ticket would be a good start. I am not sure if he is hooked up but we can arrange that as well. Finally a god father deal would seal the deal.

With all due respect. Imagine Travis was 20 and your only KPF. Would you trade him for a backman?

I would if it also meant getting an older, experienced forward (Cloke equivalent) at the same time as getting Crameri back from suspension. Not to mention that Hurley can play both ends.

As well as clearing up some cap space, if it's as big a problem as some are saying.

Would you still do it if that experienced key forward was not getting a game behind White and at times Cox?

Anyway apologies just keeping an eye on your thread as it seems we may be doing some business.

Also depends if the rumours about Beveridge not rating or liking Boyd are true (although I doubt it).

You never know though, we might be purposely keeping Travis out of our side on the knowledge that he wants to explore his options for next year.

If someone's leaving, the sooner you get used to them not being there the better*.

* unless said player is Dangerfield and bringing kids through the gates.

No worries. It's gonna be a long couple of months.
