Actually you guys never left the arrogant stakes. Just lived in denial for a decade, predicted your resurgence every year and are now claiming you were right all along! Must be nice living in Magpie land? :p

Fevola was beating Presti...
Hardly. They had about 4 contests. One were Fevola was outmarked by Presti who was in front position, another where Presti spoiled a Fevola mark, one clean mark by Fevola against Presti and one mark that should of been paid but wasn't.]

Fevola did well and was clearly the best on ground for Carlton. Walker was able to play pretty much a full game on another damaging quality forward due to Collingwood's dominance. Walker was easily beaten and it was a good learning experience for him. Needs to learn how to use his body properly. However he is still learning the craft of the backman after primarily being a ruckman.

So, if we had 3 of our best defenders playing, we wouldn't have won by more?
Depends how much value you place on Carlton missing Ratten, Hickmott and Whitnall from their best 2003 lineup. Why do people insist on trying to rewrite history. Wanna talk injuries or missing players? Carlton have written a book on the subject the last few years and I am sure the Saints fans would like to get in for their share as well.

So, the injuries are the reason you have been down the bottom two years in a row? I'm sure we were using the same excuse when we started missing the finals.

Not the only reason by a long stretch and that is not the point I made. I said not to rewrite history by stating such things. You are the one trying to rewrite last week's game by stating that you had backline players missing and would have won by 120 if they weren't. I could equally state such things with the players we had missing. Works both ways Joel.

God damn man, I was just gloating.

Understand that Joel and no self respecting Carlton supporter would ever allow a Collingwood supporter to gloat at the Blues expense and get away with it scot free.

It's in our constitution! :p
