I don't know why people are freaking out so much about RCD
Earlier in the season he was playing great at VFL level, getting mid 20s disposals and high tackle counts
The knock on him was always his physical development and it looks like he's just struggling to play out the full season

Connor Menadue

Jacob Townsend

22 disposals, 10 tackles, five clearances & seven inside-50s

“A great combination of toughness and creativity—10 tackles but also created some dangerous attacks for us.”

Dan Butler

19 disposals, six marks, four tackles, three inside-50s & two rebound-50s

“Played as a midfielder but also spent time forward. He was lively all day and pressured well, things we come to expect from ‘Buts’.”

Callum Coleman-Jones

17 disposals, 29 hit-outs, four marks, five tackles & five clearances

“Impressive game for a ‘tall bloke’ in those conditions. Played ruck and forward and was a presence in the air all over the ground. He could have really had a day out if he converted in front of goal.”

Mav Weller

16 disposals, eight tackles, five clearances, four inside-50s & three rebound-50s

“Played a strong brand of footy and laid eight tackles. He is leading the younger guys superbly at the moment.”

Oleg Markov

15 disposals, six marks, two goals, two tackles & three inside-50s

“Playing exciting footy up forward. Kicked two early goals to get us going and could have had more (goals) but also set up others. His explosiveness is hard to match up on.”

Kamdyn McIntosh

14 disposals, three marks, three inside-50s & three rebound-50s

“Played back on ‘talls’ and ‘smalls’, looking to develop his versatility in this area. He did it well and played the conditions nicely.”

Jake Aarts

13 disposals, three marks, two tackles & two clearances

“Had some nice one v one wins and looked sharp in his movement and creativity—some nice signs going forward into the future.”

Luke English

12 disposals, 10 tackles & three clearances

“He's been good for us after returning from injury a couple of weeks ago. Beats his man and wins the ball, had 10 contested possessions.”

Riley Collier-Dawkins

12 disposals, seven tackles & six clearances

“Doesn’t always accumulate high numbers but plays an aggressive brand of footy and can have high impact on the game which was the case versus the Pies. Played like an old school centreman controlling the middle (of the ground).”

Noah Balta

11 disposals, three marks & four tackles

“Made some improvements with his defensive alertness this week as well as his positioning and his physicality. Played back but also had a stint in the ruck and looked dynamic as that mobile ruckman.”

Toby Nankervis

11 disposals, 16 hit-outs, three clearances & one goal

“Got through the first half, enjoyed his footy and the boys loved having him out there. Got through unscathed which is the main thing.”

Ryan Garthwaite

Nine disposals, seven spoils & three rebound-50s

“In great form. Played as our deepest back, had seven big spoils, a couple of intercept marks and held great structure.”

Derek Eggmolesse-Smith

Eight disposals, four tackles & three rebound-50s

“Wasn’t in the action as much as he normally is but defensively he was very sound.”

Ben Miller

Five disposals & disposals

“Competed well as a key forward this week and kicked a couple of goals.”
