It's the final quarter, and Richmond are racing away and lead by 16 points.

This is the end of Collingwood.

Great effort to give it a shake this year, but you have run out of legs, and although I am sure you will be a force in the future, but you simply aren't good enough this year.

This is not a troll at the Maggies, just a fact. I hope you Collingwood fans can deal with facts...cos a fact is that you won't be there in Septmeber.

The Hitman

Yep, i expected it two weeks ago that we were gone.
I tipped us to finish 16th this year, so this was sort of a bonus this year.

Well we ran out of legs about round 9 last year. This time it was around round 15, so next year should be good.

Well you know what they say, there's always next year.

:)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

TOTAL CRAP TEAM! correct..its over

Jarrod Malloy is a peice of shiit! Tarrat is a wanna be. and where on earth was Nathan tonight!? Hes been given a bath every time we play the tigers!!

SEE THE BARRACKERS SHOUTING LIKE ALL BARRACKERS SHOULD!!!!

Collingwood

BIG problems down at Collingwood.

Heard some good news though. Spider is coming to Collingwood next year (I have more contacts than OPSM).

Still need two key defenders on top of Spider.

Expect a turnover of about 7 players. Wasley, Tuckey, Kinnear, Stone, Baynes and McKee to name a few.

And like Williams last year, a big name/s will be elsewhere. Burns is in front at this present time. Does not play enough games for a player is on 200k plus.

A few players are playing for there spots on the list next year at Collingwood.

Black has also spoken to Collingwood.

Do any Collingwood supporters know what has happend to Danny Roach?

Was pretty ironic to see King and Fiora contribute tonight while McKee was sitting at home and Roach was somewhere, just don't know where at the moment.

Roach could be the Steven Hooper of the 99 draft.

These are the facts, Hitman;
  • They're still in the eight and effectively have a game in hand because of their percentage.
  • Other than for one match (melb/geel), that's exactly where they'll stay if all the games over the next two rounds go according to ladder positions.
  • Other than having to face up to Essendon, their draw is not much tougher than that of other teams vying for 8th spot (Bulldogs, North Melbourne, Adelaide and Geelong). Check the fixtures out if you don't believe me.

No-one is out of it .... and given the role percentage will play in determining finals spots, certainly not Collingwood.

See what you made me do, Hitman?? Defend Collingwood's finals chances!! ugghh  :D

BTW, i just remembered - we play them next week - big, big game.

Thank you very much. I was going to post this myself. We are not out of it at all. Until it is mathmatically impossible for the pies to make it, I will continue to think that the pies will be their. We are still in the 8 as it is, and we will still be their at the end of the round, and more importantly at the end of round 22 as well.

Bulldogs, Geelong, Adelaide, and Collingwood all won't make it.

The Roo's will. The fact is, you have Collingwood facing:

The Bulldogs - Doggies for mine, Collingwood out of form and out of legs, losing 4 out of last 5 and that win was over Freo.

Essendon - It's not ANZAC Day, and you won't be as primed as you were that day.

Carlton - They will have their stars back, and while Collingwood will put up a big fight, their confidence will be low.

Kangaroos - At Manuka, and will favour the Roo's.

I don't think the Woodsmen will win another match, and they will finish 11th.

And I already have looked at the draw, and I have done all my predictions and my ladder...look at a previous thread I started with my Nostradamus predictions.

I will be right, and then the heaven shall rise and thy Magpies will be gone!

The Hitman

hehehe Sydney will make it.

Thanks for Shaubs and Willo mick and eddie ;)

I would love to throw egg on Micks face for the comments he made about willo after the swans game.

Whats that now..um 7 years...thats how much bad luck you get if you break a mirror right..well looks like next year will be a fresh start. Hopefully Anthony can break another mirror just like his bro did when he looked at himself in the nirror all those years ago.

as Joffa would say "PURE THUKEN GOLD MATE":p

Richmond picked him up (draft) along with King in the deal which saw McKee go to Collingwood.

As you can tell... the magpies don't look back on that trade too favourably with McKee likely to be delisted at the end of the season.

hey .. i didn't know nostradamus posts on bigfooty!

The Roo's will.

I'm not saying that you're wrong - just pointing out that you can form much the same argument against all those teams as you can for Collingwood.

The Roos are a game behind Collingwood, and 12% in arrears too. They need to make up two games on Collingwood in four rounds ... so effectively, they can only afford to drop one match in their run home.... it's definitely not beyond a team as strong as the roos ... but it wont be easy;

Sydney - tonight - crunch match and Sydney is desperate to cement their spot in the eight as one loss brings them back into the pack. Without Carey, Stevens, playing away from Melbourne... tough.

Geelong- next week- will be just as desperate for the win as the roos will be. On talent you would pick the roos ...

Adelaide - in two weeks - Ditto the Geelong match.

Richmond - round 21 - crunch match and Richmond will be looking to cement their spot in the top four - on results you would back the tigers ... and they defeated North by around 10 goals last time they played.

Collingwood - round 22 - probably will determine who'll make it - you don't think that the pies will step up with a finals berth on the line?

As I said - It's too bloody close to call - every single team in the running has a bloody tough draw... not just Collingwood. Only time will tell who's right, Hitman.

I for one hope to God they don't make it and we do.... as at least this time we wont be meeting bloody Brisbane in an elimination final during the first week! ;)

Macca,

Collingwood traded pick #3 (Used to get Fiora) and Clinton King in exchange for pick #7 (Danny Roach) and Steve McKee.

yes rohan.. a bad trade for us..

but we also got jarrod molloy for money bags malcolm michael.. a trade im very happy with at the minute

clement and holland from freo, also, a good trade for the pies.. clement has been our best pick up this year.. no doubt..

didak in the draft, is looking handy, as is cloke!

im glad we gave away willo.. as much as i loved him, he was my fave player, his time at collingwood was over.. he was to inconsistent.

you must remember rohan ALL PLAYERS THAT GO TO ANOTHER CLUB, PULL THEIR FINGERS OUT, BECAUSE THEY WANT TO KEEP PLAYING AT LEAGUE LEVEL.

they know, if they dont perform, its all over... molloy a perfect example.. as is jimmy clement...and sav.. he never played like he has at north, for collingwood... he got a kick up the arse, being sacked, and he knuckled down, and just worked hard!!

good luck to sav and willo.. good to see them do well.. just not against us!!

and in answer to your question about roachy rohan, ......
