I am now extremely disturbed by the fact that all of the fab four cross their arms using the opposite technique to myself

Not even Lloydo thinks it's the best midfield of all time or even close. If journos didn't stir the pot with their weekly s**t calls, who would pay any attention to them? The reactions to calls like these are only feeding the journos to publish even worse calls in the future. Why don't people understand this??

* Interestingly enough The Eagles won 8 of these 9 games (not to say they were better by any stretch of the imagination but they seemed to set themselves up for the challenge of Brisbane).

*Kerr's performances were quite poor against Brisbane.

*Lappin got extremely good numbers against the Eagles.

*Cousins and Judd had some of their best ever games against them.

*Voss, Judd and Akermanis all had games where they kicked 5 goals.

I used to love these games. I personally think the Eagles centre square combo (Cox, Cousins, Judd, Kerr) is the best I've ever seen, but Brisbane and Geelong had a better list of players after that and far superior lists of 22.

I wasn't really sure who Brisbane's main ruck was, I just remember Keating as the September specialist. Also wasn't sure for the Eagles whether to include Braun or Embley for the top 6, both were wingmen of sorts but most remember Embley.

Not enough quality ball users and lacks a clearance winning beast. Top 4 or 6 in the league and that's it.

Is it even the best midfield currently? Eagles I would argue has them beat, especially with a fit Nicnat. I would also take GWS midfield over Collingwood.
