Those knocking his disposal last night would be the first to defend number 5 from Carlton whom has had many games with the similar disposal.
People are reading far too much into Grigg's game last night. We would be happy if he got 29 possessions for us of course but that is not the be all and end all. He has got 29 possessions for us once before and a couple of 28 possessions games as well, so let's not assume he is in unchartered territory.
7 of those 29 possessions were uncontested and he had 3 clearances. He is nowhere near a Judd type game where 50% of Judd's possessions will be contested, with a hard tag on him, and therefore a decent explanation for his efficiency percentage.
Grigg's efficiency was 72% last night so it is a fair bet that a decent amount of uncontested possessions went astray.
