lol... Carlton are objectively the worst team in the competition, and have been for the last twenty years. By almost every statistical metric. I just don't know why any Carlton supporter would engage in a conversation like this. Despite being given the best players in the competition, and some of the best coaches, you continue to beat the odds and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory almost every week. You defy the odds in the opposite direction of success at every turn. You're like the anti-Hawthorn. Purely by numbers, you should have accidentally had success by now. I don't understand anyone who can follow Carlton, but in a really peverse and grotesque way, I can almost admire it (albeit in a fairly morbid manner). Like a really attractive wife who, for some reason, stays with a bumbling, oafish drunk - through nothing other than pure misplaced loyalty. Amazing.
