Looks like the Commonwealth Bank are trying to flog the naming rights to Colonial but there are no buyers!

I just looked on whitepages.com.au and it can be Waverley Park, if we could get these guys to spit out a lazy half mill or so per year...

...then we could shut up all those idiots calling for Waverley to be reinstated as an AFL ground, instead of the residential subdivision it should be. A nice winter southerly off the docks with the roof open, could simulate the former Waverley Park's arctic conditions perfectly!

I have always felt that the most appropriate name for the place was "Colonoscopy Stadium".

For those who are not familiar with one of modern medicine's less glamorous procedures, a colonoscopy involves an examination of a person's bowel using a tiny camera, which is inserted in a place where cameras aren't really meant to go.

Now, because Colonial Stadium was designed originally as a kind of television studio for football, I figured that there would be so many cameras in the damn place that they would be able to put one up each player's arse so that we, the viewers, would be able to get the real "inside" story on what's happening out there on the field.

Very appropriate name, I think.
