first pick, bartlett and redden hehe for tippett and symes:D

It won't happen. Tippo will sign a 3 yr deal. he'll be 28 then, if he goes back to QLD he will still have sum currency if he wants to leave then. Why would you want to leave when your surrounded by a good winning culture. If he did leave now, Brisbanes window will open after he retires, from where I see it.

Tippett will be signed with Adelaide within 2 weeks, you can bank on it :thumbsu:

Not sure this needed to be a new thread.

Anyway, I also believe he'll re-sign with Adelaide shortly, why wouldn't he?

I'll just dream in the meantime.
It's front page news on the AFL website at the moment ... and with the Search facility MIA it's very difficult to dredge up relevant old threads on the topic. The justification for this being a new thread isn't great, but it's good enough.

Inside word or vibe from all the released snippets?

Just a gut feeling. Got the same about Danger and said the same to a mate. Within the next few days Danger was signed. Expect the announcement to come on a Mon or Tues too. Seems as if the club likes announcing them early in the week.

Brisbane are nowhere near winning a flag and with GC and GWS likely to peak around the same time they're likely to be in a position to do so, Tippett would regret moving north at this point of his career for the rest of his life.

He's already one of the highest earners in the competition, and the Crows are in a strong position to win a premiership(s) in the next few years. This is a no brainer, Tippett will stay with the Crows and move back to QLD once our premiership window closes.

Massive amount of sauce in that headline by AFL.com.au

Makes it sound like we've made some audacious, ambitious play for him, when in reality, all our football manager has done is directly respond to a question from a journo with a pretty straight bat essentially saying "He'll be loving life in Adelaide right now and it would seem very likely he will stay, but yes, we would be borderline idiotic to not talk to him on the miniscule chance that he was out of contract at the end of the year and wanted to come back to Queensland."

..........and yet you let parallel threads on Talia run for days.
