His Madden is awesome for those who follow the NFL. And the way he portrays Paul the guy who runs the band on Letterman (which is also good) is absolutely hilarious.

That scene is just about the funniest thing I have seen on TV. The entire Extras Christmas Special is on youtube as well.

And for those who love their British sitcoms like me, you must check out Arrested Development from the US. It is as close to any quality British comedy - the highest praise I can give. Simply marvelous.

Finally watched the Extras Christmas Special on the weekend.

I never thought that Ricky Gervais would be able to top the ending to The Office but I think he did it.

Andy's "Penguin/Flying Fish" monologue literally put tears in my eyes, and was brilliantly acted.

Can't wait to see what Gervais and Merchant do next.

Blasphemy!!!

No way that special competes with The Office. I was a little disappointed to be honest, but then again they are geniuses so I do expect a lot.

The overall quality of the Office Xmas special was better, but the ending of Extras was an absolute home run.

The celebrity rant at the end was nothing less than brilliant.

The Office was brilliant, don't get me wrong. But the relationship between Andy and Maggie had more depth than Dawn and Tim.
