My dad told me today that in 1963 when we beat hawthorn, at the supporters day after the grand final they commemorated the win by burying a hawk in the ground.

What could we do for port?

I was thinking maybe putting up a lightning rod - cause we control the power! =D

Suggestions?

Someone told me on the way to the game that Powercore had given permission to use a power pole!

I couldn't care less about Port to be honest. They just happened to be the team we smashed to win the Premiership. Yesterday, for me, was about Geelong - not who we beat.

BTW, my 3 year old son decided the best way to commemorate the win was to have a pee on Kardinia Park in the middle of 30,000 people (on Sunday). :D The ground was a little soft around CHF at the river end boys...

I suppose when you're 3 you could get away with it... Good story to tell the grand kids I suppose.
