I'd have loved to be a fly on the wall during this week's video reviews of the game. Not only the overall one with the senior coach but the ones with the line coaches and those with individuals. There must've been some very glaring mistakes made for all to see.

I hope the final quarter was examined openly, honestly and as thoroughly as the Kennedy assassination.

Identifying the issues is the easy bit. Rectifying them is what will count.
Hang on, no one knows who killed JFK. So how are we meant to win a game!?

What a crap and misleading headline for the story.

Not one qoute from anyone from North or St.Kilda defending their high performance practices.
That's one step worse than Wilson's constant use of nebulous, unnamed "sources". At least she gave the reader the impression (if debatable) that there was in face a source.

This bloke just attributes actions to the club without even bothering to attribute anything to a source. It means he's just making shit up and is too arrogant and lazy to even hide it.

It's can only be a good thing that this vision has come to light. Let's face, both Ziebell and Cunnington are very much players that we supporters generally believe to be gutsy and prepared to leave everything on the field. This vision puts the lie to that. However, it also shows that it wouldn't take too much to sort it out. As for Jack and Cunners, it might be a case of complacency and "drinking their own bath water", so to speak. I really expect a big change in that department from here on.

I don't see why this is such a surprise - anyone who goes to games knows these 2 are not good 2 way gut runners - it's been that way since game 1 - they don't have the aerobic capacity of other mid fielders. It's why they don't have high TOG and why this is not an easy fix.

This is the key reason Jacobs was so important - he took one of their spots in the mid field and he followed his man relentlessly. Helped us enormously to close down teams (granted - not as good offensively).

Its also the reason a few of us have been banging on about getting a better balanced midfield including a player like Clarke who is a gut runner both ways. You can probably get away defensively with one of Cunners and Zeibs on the ball - but not both of them at the same time.

This vision reminds me when On The Couch exposed Bastinac's slackness about 5 years ago against the Swans in Hobart.

Very damning.

Caro made it clear his management went to brisbane.....and going of her record it's all bulls***

Re; commitment, you have a strange way of interpreting things that's all i can say.
If its all bullshit, then its persistent bullshit, and he's had plenty of time to speak to his manager so that he can come back and say 'I spoke with Craig, and I can he denies that he ever spoke to Brisbane', instead you get the line 'If he did it was without my knowledge'. This is kinda like saying he expects us to believe he never discussed it with his manager. How stupid does he think we are? But its not evidence in itself that he was looking, just that he is BSing about his manager.

He suggests that he's show significant loyalty to us, and quite clearly gets upset about that being questioned, and then goes on to suggest its his loyalty that made him drop the senior players.... That if he was only worried about himself he would of kept those seniors players on.... PLEASE HOLD ME BRAD, YOUR LOYALTY KNOWS NO BOUNDS.

Bah, i'm just ranting now. But I can see why coaches going through a list refresh can go bad, because clearly they are looking at the next job and the look W/L and how to keep propping a side up at the cost of the clubs future. I hope this does not happen. I just wish instead they would accept the new challenge and embrace if fully and ignore the W/L when it comes to selection. If you are going down, lets bounce rather than hover like we did during the laidly/brad years.

U do make a good point re Brad and his manager. U'd think he would know by now if his manager didn't talk with anyone.

I hope we are 5 goals up in the third this week. Let us see if the boys have learnt anything.

Did not like his interview. Talks about commitment, but makes it clear that he's only committed until he wants to leave.

While that in itself isn't a bad thing and everyone should do it, for him to say that publicly is a sure sign of a lack of commitment, and a sign that he's telling the world he is open to offers.

I haven't been fully in the camp of he must go, but I wasn't convinced that HE is all in now, and that its doing to be detrimental over the course of the year. Sounded more like he was dodging questions (and its becoming clear that his management did look at Brisbane), and now he is making a statement that he will be available at the end of the year. Sorry brad, fans (and players) can read between the lines mate, your lack of being able to be categorical in your responses and your limp fisted attempt to play both ends around commitment show through quite clearly.
I must have been watching a different interview. I thought he was good.

How many times has he been on?
Seems to be an annual event.

Nevertheless Jacko was one of the more amusing interviews of all time last year.
