Thanks for posting Jindrrk. First chance I've had really to hear from Jed this year since he's hit his career best form. So happy for this guy and a big reason why we're in finals contention this year.
Couple years back, or maybe less than that I was saying he seemed so timid and not so confident in himself. It showed on field. Doesnt come across like that now and more mature and more confident and it shows.

As much as I dont like Cotchin, his crash and bash in some games I have seen him play have been extremely good and very effective. Jed has been playing quite similar and it definitely makes our midfield much better around the contest and making it easier for Ben and Higgins to get the ball, as it has with Lolmond.

I actually really enjoy Judd in the media, he's one of the best out there, measured, intelligent. Completely different to his robotic persona as a player.

I think Carlton made a great decision with him at board level.

I agree. He has a very analytical outlook and is the absolute chalk to Caro's putrid cheese. Doesn't fall for the generic PC bully bullshit either.

Chris Pelchen was just on SEN to discus the Carlton list, which he suggested started the season among teams like North, Saints, Brisbane etc on the rebuild path but has subsequently been found to be far inferior, especially compared to North "who are having a great year."

Garry Lyon finished the call by saying "well Chris a lot of North listeners want to take you to task for suggesting they had the worst list (greeted with much chortling at both ends) so we'll get you into the studio so you can answer their calls."

Egg meet face!

Re Carlton, he said they had gaps galore and their most pressing need is to recruit a ready made ruckman.

I wonder what they'd be willing to offer for Preuss?

Isn't Pelchen the one year wonder who built a career out of some tank & priority picks?

Yep, then went to St Kilda and essentially wanted to trade Montagna, Dal Santo, Riewoldt etc

Pelchen is one of the main reasons Dal Santo left St Kilda.

Yep. His philosophy is "piss off everyone who may not be around for the next premiership and draft kids, hence buying time at the very least."

In hindsight
Goldy shld have been dropped
Swallow too
And the newbies who were out of their depth eg durdin sent straight back to the 2s

So whinging about Coach last yr was totally reasonable

Re Carlton, he said they had gaps galore and their most pressing need is to recruit a ready made ruckman.
i would also argue they need a ready made Fwd, even if Harry comes on he will be a lone hand there with only Casbould as another real option. I expect them to throw the farm at Lynch.

the worst thing about carltons rebuild is it will take so long for he current recruits to hit their straps that they will loose many of the players that are even making them semi competitive,(krueser, Rowe, Murphy and Daisy) then they will have lack of depth again, its a vicious circle.

richmond showed last year in a close comp its your 15-28 that are likely to bring success rather than your 1-5.
